Has time ever stopped for anyone?

"Mr. Steves, you already know about the plan, right?"

Steves nodded.

"But Officer, are you sure that they won't be attacked again?"

"I have done my investigation, perhaps an insider was involved hence they could be attacked", her calm attitude was somewhat like a reassurance.

"Still, I cannot believe that Ron was involved in this. It is shocking to even realise that!", he banged his fists on the table.

Zsadin silently observed him till he had totally vented his anger on the table.

"I should get going. Also of you receive any threats immediately contact me", she stood up to leave.

"Umm...Officer what will happen to Ron and Mike?"

"They are in our custody. After thorough investigation, they will be handed over to the FBI", she skeptically looked at him for a while but left after shaking hands.

Downstairs the boys were chatting away with the batch. Promising them to meet again soon, the batch left along with Zsadin. All this time, D couldn't help but gaze at Zsadin.

He was reluctant to part ways with her but his time with her was limited.

There were countless times when humans wanted to stop time, to live in that moment forever.

Has time ever stopped for anyone?

No, it flows away second by second, leaving humans in that state of despair.

That was what D felt. How he wished to always stand by her side!

He was hoping that she would give him a parting smile or even looking at him would be enough. But she didn't even stop for a second and drove away to the villa.

Sighing D headed back into the office and later returned to their shared penthouse in Shackled Hills.

"D, are you alright?", Vell worriedly looked at D's sullen face.

"You miss her, right? Even I do!", Fobi patted his back consoling him.

"I am fine. I just feel tired!", his nonchalant answers just intensified their worries.

But D smiled sadly and rested his head on the glass pane. Staring outside he felt as if a part of him was being taken away.

After a while he dozed off.

"He is really heartbroken!"

"Yes, it was his second unrequited love, right?"

"Hey, speak slowly. Let us just be quiet till we get home!", Raanz rested comfortably on his seat.

"Tony, just wake us up after we reach", Vell closed his eyes.

Tony who was their new assistant nodded and turned back to driving and switched off the back lights in the car so that they could sleep peacefully.
