As soon as Zsadin was discharged, she rushed towards Daisy's office, entering without knocking.
"Ah! You scared me!", a petrified Daisy yelled at her. She breathed heavily a few times and sat down.
"I had asked Allie for something..... did you find anything of that sort?", Zsadin looked around her office, glancing at the numerous files piled on the shelf.
"Umm...yes actually. There seemsto be an inside aid as I can sense. But one thing is strange, the guard who was helping him escape was on leave and he says that his badge was stolen", hearing this Zsadin went into deep thought.
"That means that this person either didn't intend to make noise or wanted Brandon alive", at that moment Allie suddenly came inside rendering Daisy stupified.
"Ah! Did you two plan something against me? For god's sake, knock the door first!"
"I am sorry, Chief. But I need to speak with Chief Zsadin first!", her mysterious demeanour set Daisy off.
"Whatever! Just finish your business first then come to me!", and she slumped away into another pile of files.
Standing in the doorway, Allie whispered something to Zsadin and she seemed to be sigh as if she expected the same thing. Allie handed her a small brown package and took her leave.
"Daisy, I will catch up with you later".
"Zsadin, wait. Listen up first-", Daisy humphed in frustration, but she was fast as the wind, disappearing in no time.
As she returned to her apartment, the first thing she did was checking the contents of the USB drive Allie handed her. There was nothing much, just a video file.
As the video proceeded, Zsadin smirked. The escapade was carried out as she had thought and she had a gist about the next steps Brandon would be taking.
***********
"Uncle, Caleb speaking. I have send a new passport as well as a ticket and visa to the F country. You need to get away today!"
"Oh boy! I need to finish off something first, only then I can be in peace!", his rough voice echoed in the empty room.
"You can complete it after some time. You have to leave this country today!", the urgency in Caleb's voice was ardent. He very well knew what this idiot uncle of his wanted to finish, but to keep Zsadin safe, he had to send him away, at any cost.
"No! I will not leave now! I will finish off that Damien and that bitch!", saying this Brandon slammed the phone on the floor.
On the other side, Caleb was furious.
"Magnus, bring that old man, use force, do anything. Just bring him here before this all worsens!"
"Yes, boss", Magnus slid away leaving Caleb in the darkness as he remembered the day when he had to choose between his brother and her.
Though she was lying in a pool of blood, he had to rush away with his brother. He had to see her from afar when all he wanted to do was hold her in his arms and nurse her back to health. However, suddenly a smile crept onto his face as he remembered the existence of his brother.
