Money means nothing now

Jason checked his coins and they were back to an amount with which he could think of buying a skill and still have coins for emergencies.

He had 750 coins in total right now with almost 350 of them coming from zombie kills.

There were 3 skills left in the skill column.

Basic Martial art

Sixth sense

Sword art

While Basic Martial art and Sword art would give him extra firepower and make him stronger. The sixth sense skill will help him in surviving in this apocalyptic world. This world was now filled with perilous areas and terrifying creatures. Survival skills are what he needs the most right now.

"When will the other skills be unlocked," Jason asked the system in his mind.

"Level 5" The system replied with no explanation.

"Fuck u" Jason cursed the system and grudgingly bought the skill for 500 coins making his coins go pack to a pitiable amount of 250 coins.

"I'll have to earn more coins and level up too," Jason mumbles under his breath as he watches his body for any anomaly after assimilating this new skill.

"Let's fill up the inventory."

The ground floor of the mall had women clothes and household items. While the second floor had male clothes and electronics. The third floor had fast food and the entertainment area.

"Food is the most important thing right now but Harry is there collecting food, I'll wait for him to finish collecting food and then fill up my inventory when he is on the second floor."Jason decided to first visit the second floor and then meet the survivors and collect food in the last till then harry would have finished storing food for the group. The food he will store in the inventory will be for emergencies.

But first, he'll have to first test something on the second floor.

Jason manoeuvred trough the zombie corpses and moved up the escalator to reach the second floor. He made a beeline to the electronics department.

"There you are" Jason looked at the Fancy Glass container holding watches. He smashed it away and took a watch and checked the time on that and then stored it in his inventory.

While he could do this test with his mobile phone he wanted to get a Sturdy watch to check time too.

He took out the watch after some time, there was a smile on his face as he saw that the time was the same as it had been before he put the watch in the inventory. This made it clear that his inventory also stopped time for the things stored inside it.

Let's see what do I really need from this floor, while the inventory Has space almost equivalent to a large apartment right now, filling it willy nilly will do him no good.

Jason picked two smartwatches and 3 analogue ones which looked rugged enough. The smart ones were for storing the offline map of the city he was in and the analogue ones were for if he broke the watches while fighting.

He also took a tablet and downloaded an App with a world map on it with the basic functions like pointing to nearest Gas Station, Eating points and the shortest route pointer.

Having a map would be a god-sent in this apocalyptic world when the internet falls as it is bound to happen with no one to maintain the IT infrastructure.

He also chugged a few power banks he could find and also some portable lights.

"Now its time to visit the Clothing section" Jason felt it oddly satisfying to pick up what he wanted from the stores it gave him an odd sense of satisfaction and happiness.

Jason picked a few sets of clothing for him and some leather jackets which he hoped could lower the impact of the fighting.

"Let's go up a level" Jason finally said after satisfying himself.

The group of people were still inside the glass cabin inside the game zone. They had Though of coming out when they saw that all the zombies had run after Jason. But they could not muster enough courage to go out from their self-induced prison. Their faces brightened on seeing him come on the third floor. This meant all the zombies were either dead or out of the mall for Jason to be walking feely after luring the zombies. They finally came out of the Game zone and rushed up to Jason.

Jason patiently waited for them with a gun in his hand

"W-Wat happened to all the zombies' brother," A lady from the group asked him, She was in a staff uniform. She probable worked on this floor and had been lucky to survive.

"Dead, I along my friend killed all of them," Jason said with a neutral face. He did so to warn the people from trying something funny, he could see a delinquent looking guy and a man with an expensive-looking suit eying his gun.

Exclamations ran across the group as there were quite a few zombies on this floor and there were bound to be more on the other floors. For this guy in front of them to kill them all made them wonder who this guy really was.

"How much for the gun," The Man in the suit asked him arrogantly. The other people in the group looked at him as if he was a fool.

Jason peered at the guy, he was talking with his head so high as If looking down on everyone around him. It seemed as if the apocalypse had done nothing to his hubris and attitude.

"Not selling" Jason replied plainly. He did not want to deal with this group anymore as he had other important things to do.

"Everything has a price," The man said with a sneer on his face."I can give you anything you want just give me the gun, if not that help me get back to the nearest police station and you'll get what you desire for."

Jason could not help but pity the guy, no matter how great his background had been yesterday no matter how full his bank accounts were it did not matter now. The society is bound to fall and money meant nothing now its status will be far wore than plain paper at least on it you could write something.

"Not selling," Jason said again. And turned to look at all the people in the group right in their eyes one after another and said.

"The world outside has fallen and there are zombies everywhere and the government is also in a mess and will not be able to function properly anymore. Take anything you want from this mall and go to a safe place and try your best to survive. And trust no one." Jason said that and walked away from the group heading towards one of the fast-food shops.

The eyes of the Delinquent were still on his gun as he walked away.
