Emma is nineteen and a half weeks pregnant and is still not seen her husband. She tried calling the woman back the woman didn't answer. The police were looking for him, now if have ever heard of a missing person case you know the first week is important, Emma knew this which is why the when the first week came and went and it made her scared. But she would not give up hope on finding her husband. One day she got a call from an unknown number she immediately picked it up. She heard the quiet woman's voice " if you want to see your husband alive don't contact the police". Emma with tears in her eyes answered " I won't just please tell me where he is". The quiet woman answered back " do you think it's that easy". Those words shot lightning bolts down Emma's spine and made tears start Rolling down her cheeks. Dropping to the floor Emma asked how she can get her husband back. The quiet woman just laughed and said "I'll tell in time but for now goodbye". And then just like in the last call, the phone line went dead... Emma scream cried she had never been this Long without someone by her side, but now she was all alone trying to find her husband, and at nineteen weeks pregnant she couldn't do much. So she cried thinking about what everything was supposed to be like. She was supposed to finish her pregnancy, have her baby's and raise them with her husband, and maybe have a few more. Life was supposed to be simple. she was supposed to live out the rest of her days with Julian, but now she's by herself trying to figure out how to get her husband back. She can't call the police because they might hurt her husband. So she cried, she cried for a while and just sat alone on the floor.
A week has past Emma is now twenty weeks pregnant and the person who took Julian has called zero times. Emma grows more and more worried with every passing day. She wonders if Julian is ok or even alive, he could be dead and no one would find his body, Emma began to wail tears the size of quarters. Huge puddles begin to collect on the floor, growing bigger and bigger the more she cries the worst she feels. She cried until her eyes went dry and began to burn, she didn't even care at this point she just was staying in this spot. She began to stare at the grandfather clock in the corner, from side to side she watched as the clock ticked. Then suddenly the phone rang it was an unknown number. She picked it up and it was the woman who had Julian, she softly said "if you ever want to see your husband alive again I request your grandfather's pocket watch put it at the base of your mailbox and I will deliver your husband back to you". So Emma did this after thoroughly checking the watch and finding nothing. The next day there was a knock on the back door. Emma saw through the curtains a masked woman. next to the woman was a man that was bound at the feet and hands with rope. at first, Emma didn't recognize the man. the more she looked at him she realized it was Julian, her Julian. Emma ran to the door and swung it open with so much force picture flew off the wall. by the time she had opened the door, the woman was gone. on the step below her lay the body of her husband's unconscious body. Emma dropped down to her hands and knees and checked his pulse. Emma sighed a sigh of relief, he was alive. Emma somehow was able to drag his body to the couch. in her fear, she found the strength to pull him up on the couch and untie the ropes. she waited and he didn't wake up, Emma laid on the couch beside him and cuddled up with him, and fell asleep. when Emma woke up she was in bed, she was confused about how she got there. Emma heard a loud bag come from the kitchen, she remembered that Julian was back. Emma rushed to the kitchen and called out his name. "I'm in the kitchen darling" Julian responded. Emma ran up to him and embraced him he embraced her back, they stood there like that for a while. Emma began to cry, Julian wiped her tears and kissed her. This is what true love is. It is when two people can tell what the other is thinking without talking, Emma thought. with tears still, in her eye,s, she said "I missed you so much please never leave me again" Julian promised to always come back to her no matter what. a few weeks have passed. Emma is now thirty-five weeks pregnant. so far life has gone back to normal. one thing still bothers Emma, why did that woman want the watch. It made Emma so co confused she just gave up trying to figure it out and focused on her baby's. Emma started taking birthing classes to prepare herself for what is going to happen soon. Emma is five weeks away from giving birth to her lovely baby girls. Emma spent most of her time reading in the garden, listening to the birds and trees. That was. one of the most peaceful times of her life. Emma woke up one morning feeling sharp pains in her lower stomach. The pain came and went it was bearable at first, but as the day progressed the pain worsened. Emma didn't call the doctor for four hours and when she finally did, an ambulance came for her because she was in LABOR. The pain she was feeling was labor contractions. Emma called Julian from the hospital to tell him that she was in premature labor. Julian quickly drove to the hospital and rushed into the room right as emmas water broke.
