Made a Killin'

After getting the new quest to gather ores for his sword Leo got out of the shop and made his way around to the village center.

Although Leo already had a sword, he wanted a better weapon so he could go to higher-level zones past the Silicon Forest. While on his way it seemed that people have gradually calmed down and quite a few people had the basic white equipment on them.

Leo made his way towards an alleyway and made his equipment on display mode as he wanted to make it big. Then he sprinted towards the center of the place where people gathered as they put up stalls and were selling random stuff.

Leo used the System's Stall Option as he made a board displaying, [Auctioning Equipment for Credits]. Leo gathered quite some attention as his equipment was on full display when most people didn't even have a single piece of equipment.

Soon people gathered around him while some were drooling over his equipment. While a few poor souls tried to attack Leo but couldn't hit him due to the system's protection while in Stall Mode.

While a few made plans to kill Leo when he quit the shop mode and a few started reporting to their friends and guild members in the village.

Although the game has been on for over 6 hours, only a scant few people have gotten equipment and that is also just white tier. And looking at Leo wearing multiple pieces of bronze equipment made many wonders if that person was an NPC. If it wasn't for the Player Icon on top of his head they would have surely been mistaken.

Leo grinned as he shouted "I have Pieces of White Equipment for auction using Credits. Use the option in the stall to bid for items. Each item will be Minimum 1000C and a Set of Equipment Will be 5000C. A Set Includes the [Leather Shirt], [Leather Pant] and [Leather Shoes]. Also, [Leather Bag] which increases your storage space by 15 will be set for 2500C. The auction will start in 10 minutes and will last till stocks last. "

Many were flabbergasted seeing an auction of various pieces of equipment even if they were White Quality and seeing Leo auctioning a few pieces of equipment and seeing they were for credits instead of game coins made many ready to participate.

When 5 minutes have passed after Leo's announcement a group of people came and arrogantly said, "Hey kid, Stop your auction and sell everything to us."

Leo heard the annoying familiar voice as he looked at them and just smiled as he ignored them. They were enraged when they heard no response. And when they got closer had got a good look at the owner of the auction they were stunned. Because they just got their asses handed to them by that person half an hour back.

The MightyOnes were shocked at first and wanted to gang up on Leo again since they had about 20 people now and they won't be taken by surprise anymore. But decided not to since any fight in the village means they will be punished accordingly by the system using the village guards. Furthermore, Leo was now in Stall mode. They heard a few people got jailed for attacking a person in Stall mode.

In Celestial World, Each person only has one account and they cannot delete and create a new account, and being jailed on the first day of the launch could set them back from the frontlines as they will fall into a huge disadvantage.

Seeing as Leo was ignoring them, they also quietened now, soon one more group made of 15 Players came up as they also quietly waited for the auction to begin. They were members of [Night Remnant] one of the Top four guilds in the Norton Quarter. And the one leading them was [Straight Sword] who was one of the two Vice-Guild Leaders. He was a top expert and ranked among the top 20 in the northern continent in the last game.

....

"Hey, is that Straight Sword. Wow, didn't think we were in the same village as him."

"He is as straight as his name. Much better compared to the other group."

"Damn, quite down if the MightyOnes hear what you just said they will make you leave the game."

....

Leo listened to the people speaking around and found out who the new group was. Even though he also played the last game, he was just the bottom rung of the game just living by using his wits. So he closely looked at Straight Sword and just as he was observing, he was also being observed by others. His Mask was hiding the lower part of his face so most couldn't see what expression was on his face and people could only see his black eyes as a clue to identify him.

Although Leo didn't like the thought of making his opponents stronger he was in urgent need of credits and they were trash equipment anyway. So Leo soon set up the stall settings and got ready to start the auction.

Leo right now didn't mention how much of each equipment he had and many people thought he had only a dozen or so. But Leo had collected over [Leather Shirt]x76, [Leather Pant]x68, [Leather Shoes]x 82 and [Leather Bag]x 26. Leo had put over 60 as Sets and the rest 46 pieces as standalone. Even the [Leather Bag]x 26 would fetch him quite some credits after this auction.

He would make a killing by squeezing these people dry. Soon the auction started and 5 pieces of equipment were put out for auction first. Where the bidders made quick bids as they raised the prices of each equipment as they went as high as 4000C and then Leo put up 2 Bags which went as high as 10000C since people thought that there was only 2 of them. After that Leo put out the 5 sets of equipment which reached about 8000C.

Seeing Leo bring out the last of that 5 sets everyone wanted to buy made it crazily made the price go up for 8500C. When people thought the auction was over Leo brought out another 5 pieces of equipment which brought out another frenzy of crazy bidding.

Whenever people thought the auction was over Leo would wait about 30 seconds before putting out a small quantity of the equipment. This cycle continued until everything was sold. Most of the equipment was bought by both the Guilds and some rich players. The [Night Remnant] bought about 20 sets and the [MightyOnes] bought 30 sets. They also competed for the Storage bags. While the other pieces of equipment were bought by others.

Overall Leo made so much money that he was flabbergasted when saw his own account balance, he thought that he was viewing someone else account. He now had made over 900,000 Credits. He never thought he might get so much money just by selling trash pieces of white equipment.
