Fluctu Potion

"That's fine. From what I've seen, your skill allows you a hundred tamer points. It's even deeper than that, there is a constant link between your creatures and you that transfers things between you all. And that necklace, I couldn't even begin to analyze it but the glow definitely seems to have something to do with luck, is that right?" but she didn't let him answer and continued talking, "I want to ask where you got such a thing, but that doesn't matter. I have just one question, what do you plan on doing with your life? Your greatest goal or your wildest wish that you will work to someday achieve."

"My one greatest goal?"

He thought back to one night, two weeks prior. He and Black had just merged and he called on God for it to be explained to him.

"God, I've recently merged with an eye, how does that work?"

God was now in his favorite human form, a bald, fully nude, sleek person. But there were no discernible genitals to determine the gender. He didn't know whether to feel uncomfortable or not.

"Your consciousnesses have simply entangled with each other. Of course, they haven't become completely a part of you so they can't come here. If they became a part of you, they would no longer be a separate being, but you would just have their memories."

He asked a few more questions and when twenty minutes was nearly up, he felt satisfied with what he knew. But before he left God held him back and told him, "I have noticed a lack of determination from many of my otherworlders, my term for people I moved to other words. But I have noticed that since they came here, many have settled down and decided to live a slow life, having gotten over the excitement of being in a new world. But that just won't work for me, there is nothing fun about any of that, so I will give all of my experiments one goal, be the ruler of your worlds by the time you die. If you don't, you will suffer in hell, on the other hand, if you succeed, you will enjoy the most delightful enjoyments in heaven."

"Rule the world? What do you mean, like becoming a king or simply having people acknowledge my power?"

His vision of god already began fading and he only told him, "that will be up to you…"

Rule the world? Does he mean to become a king and unify all the nations? Or simply become a hero that everyone would revere and follow? Or maybe become a significant and immortalized figure that people will remember and pray to for the ages to come, like God.

He thought hard on what to do, perhaps he should create his own kingdom and take down all the others. It seems to be the most straightforward way, but countless obstacles will stand in the way for sure. He told Page about him and he said this had happened before, but it was at least a year later. It seems his actions had affected god, which affected the others as well.

"My greatest goal is to rule the world," he said.

"Rule the world? To become the king over everyone in the world?" she asked incredulously, "how would you ever do that, there are at least 50 known kingdoms out there."

"Yes, but this is a matter as big as heaven or hell. I will do this," he said, determinedly.

"Good." she said, smiling mysteriously, "That's a good goal to have. A far one, a lofty goal amongst the stars that will take all of your will and determination. I've noticed this strong resolution before when you wanted to be attacked to learn and a combination of these things is why I asked you here." she led them further down the room, the dim lighting didn't allow him to see the other end, but now that he was walking closer, he noticed a small bottle on a pedestal against the wall shining brightly inside a glass casing. There was a very strange glow in the liquid and all around it, a mixture of yellow, purple, orange, blue, and whatever else there was that he couldn't see.

She gestured to it with one hand, "This is the first time I've ever shown it to anyone since the day I got it. It's called a Fluctu Potion, made out of Fluctu pearls smashed and mixed together into a single, amazing potion that can cause a rapid spike in your magical abilities.

It forcibly causes more magic to rush into your body and stirs it around quickly to assimilate it while it strengthens your body and skills so you not only need a strong mind and will, but also a good deal of knowledge on how to control your mana waves so that it doesn't all cluster in one area and explode. But because of the violent rush of magic and the rapid change, many people will be torn apart and ripped to shreds by the mana or the growth of their own body if they consume a single drop.

There was once a famous hunter, Mavis, who had tried a drip from one of these and fell unconscious for years, unable to use magic anymore. I'm too afraid to take it but I've been trying to find ways to replicate it all these years with different recipes, but I feel like it's just been going to waste sitting in the dark all these years.

I want to trade this to allow me to study you a bit more. Allow me to know the true nature of your skill and the necklace. And perhaps some experiments depending on the answers."

"This potion looks amazing. That glow, how was this made?"

"It requires ten fully made Fluctu Pearls and heat from the stomach of a Flame attributed Sage Dragon. I'm not even sure there are any others out there. For a while back in the day, there were rumored to have been three, we have no clue where the other two are. The Ancient Temple and the Runes that were protecting them were lost during the Dragon Apocalypse, I was able to protect this one out of pure luck."

"And-and you want me to have it?"

"I believe only someone with not only a strong will and determination but also the means to go the distance. Now, I don't mean for you to take it now, or even anytime soon. Only take it when you are sure that your body is strong enough to handle it. Don't ever take it until you are at least an A1 rank in the hunter's rankings."

"Okay. What do you know about the effects? What exactly can it do, do you have an example?" he asked, mildly bewildered.

"Yeah, I actually met someone who said he survived the drink. Someone who called himself Afir," she said.

"Afir?"

"Yeah, do you know him?"

"Yeah, I've met him before too. He taught me a few things about survival. Actually, it was more like he forced me to fight for myself."

"Yeah, he is the more eccentric type. But he said he took it about fifty years ago and the effects were dramatic, he felt like his insides were burning out like a ring of flames spreading from his heart and outwards as his entire body was destroyed and changed. His skills and all of his senses were sharpened beyond anything he has had before."

"Woah, sounds dramatic. And you want to give me such a potion? Just for some examinations?" for a second, he thought about asking Page if he should, but he remembered that she became one of the Eight and has been helpful all this time. She was someone he could trust and it was just some information, it didn't seem like her to sell off the information and kill him. "on one condition. this is something I will not budge on, but never, ever tell anyone about my skills or whatever I'm about to tell you."

"Easy enough, I don't talk to anyone anyway- I mean, I don't talk about my experiments, uh" she said frantically, wanting to cover up what she was about to say at first.

"haha, Rolas, it's fine. we are your friends, you can take to us." Zeeth said kindly. he couldn't see well under the darkness but it looked like she smiled.

'Or maybe she wants to use this as an opportunity to have you voluntarily tested and experimented on with the promise of a Fluctu Potion and then kill you for the potion back. And then repeat it with some others.' Black said ominously.

'I don't know about that, I trust her. By the way, do you know if this is legit?'

'Yes, the friend one of my previous hosts actually helped make one. This feels the exact same as the one she made. She never took it for fear of her life but it looks the same too.'

"I need to know, what kind of experiments are we talking about?"

"Depends, what does the skill do exactly? And what do you have tamed?"

"If I answer, then we'll agree to this deal?" she nodded and he continued, "alright. This skill is exactly as you said, it has a hundred tamer points and we transfer a portion of our abilities and even health. I have tamed a hundred slimes, each taking one point because I didn't realize my skill had a limit.

The slimes can rejuvenate me and all the others by sleeping or staying healthy so that we will all be at the same level of health." he explained the rest of the skill and about the necklace, how it enhanced his luck and the one time shield but he left out the fact that it could call God.

"A hundred slimes? That's a strange choice, a hundred points should be able to tame even a dragon."
