Sinistra

"Hi, Luik. You've grown so much since the last time."

"Yes, I have grown another pair of hands." She said in her silvery voice that was stronger now than it was before. "Do you have any sacrifices? I have a good idea for an artifact."

"I don't right now but I'll be sure to look out for them."

He noticed that they had dug out tunnels and more of the walls to create more space. In one of the tunnels, they kept all the meteors and the bits of purple. He tried to read the description but all it said was: Space Rock. unknown origins, almost indestructible, weak against Change Magic.

Change magic was things like transformation magic, things that could mold it. It was something the records of the dwarves also showed and got pretty deep into it, transforming both materials and your own body. Changing your body was almost impossibly harder, you needed to watch out for the veins and arteries, the capillaries needed to be carefully moved so that every part of the body can still receive blood and not die. He was still too inexperienced with the magic to try it on himself.

He stared at the meteors, transfixed. 'Nearly indestructible'. Was that to all magic? Physical hits? He wanted to try it out.

Practicing his molding magic for the first time on something other than iron or simple metals, he had a much harder time. During his time in the blacksmith, another tattoo had been imprinted on his arm, this time was two hands that looked like it was holding an invisible ball with a hammer in the middle. He covered it up again with his slimes and realized the skill was both to help him a blacksmith and to help use a more advanced form of transformation magic so he could make things move a little easier.

It was nothing like the magic he saw from Kajer on Julorus's screen, the items he made from difficult items, making a sword out of a dead body or making a cannon out of fifty pieces of junk and all without touching them, but it was enough for now.

He tore off a piece of metal with a lot of prying and checked it. The outside of the meteor was read to be: Unknown Space Metal (Burnt): Weak, allows magic to pass right through like air, can absorb incredible amounts of water.

He brushed off a bit of that into his hand and released water magic into it. It really did absorb a lot, the rock didn't expand, it just kept getting heavier until it was overfilled like a sponge and water spilled out. He threw it in his slime pocket and left with the metal. He kept staring at them, just as Page and the others.

On the walls, he saw a glass case containing arrows of various shapes and sizes. One pure white arrow with feathers attached by the stems, one with a single, massive feather that was half the size of a normal wing.

"Cool arrows."

"Yes, the automatic arrows. After the judgment stick was destroyed we took the wood it left and fashioned arrows out of them. Left them near Luik and hidden as a secret weapon."

Suddenly, a loud crash was heard outside and a boom followed. They ran outside with Zeeth holding the metal. They saw people running away from the walls and the imprint of an eye dented into the walls. Even its pupil was clearly imprinted which suddenly moved around to look at everything inside.

It locked on Elton and stopped moving. The eye was blasted through and a single person stood there hovering in mid-air. The red-robed person with the right eye on the back of his robe, Iustus.

"Skeleton, you are a difficult man to find. Thankfully, not too difficult. Now come back to us before I hurt your friends here. I had no clue you even had a village to return to."

"Who is this?"

"Iustus. The right eye of the cult that captured me. One of the two leaders leading the rest."

"Is he strong?"

"Yes. Stronger than me, but not faster."

"Skeleton, I would really appreciate it, and so would everyone else I assume, if you came silently."

"Why does he want you?"

"To revive their third leader and allow him immortality."

"Oh, that is a good reason. Do they want to put his mind in yours?"

"I don't know the specifics," he clacked, "but they mentioned some kind of altar."

"Skeleton, I don't have time to dilly dally. Come now or I will send my people in."

Elton casually walked to him that slowly became a jog, then a sprint that became a dash straight for his neck. Iustus easily dodged the attack but it hit his shoulder instead. There was a red glare under the hood and the eye on the robes back shone red too.

There was a loud whistling in the air behind him and people were flung at the wall, coming like rockets. They hit the wall but didn't splatter or anything, they simply got back up and got in some kind of formation. Cannons were ready at an instant, shots were blasted out without a bit of smoke. Magnetic cannonballs struck the army and tore off heads. When they saw the speeding cannonballs, the people swiftly put up their own defenses, magical umbrellas connected by their heads. Cannonballs began bouncing off the magical umbrellas, so the cannon people added their own thing, changing the shape, adding magic, and using magic circles. These were damaging their umbrellas more, a few even breaking through but the people were dying slower as more people were shot at them.

One flying cannonball was followed by a high-powered jet of water that seemed to damage many of them and even knock a few people over. A high-pitched girl's voice was heard yelling, "woo, hoo! Take my water!"

Many others followed her attack with the same thing which flooded the floors and showed the invisible umbrellas even clearer.

Iustus grabbed Elton by the spine which seemed to have some sort of paralyzing effect as Elton limply lied there. Page ran forth and punched a rock at Iustus whose hood glared again and created an invisible barrier that stopped the rock. Page punched the same rocks again, this time catching Iustus by surprise and tore his hoodie off with a few rocks.

Long, brown hair whipped out of the hoodie, a smooth face, and pretty eyes, Iustus was a girl. A realistic eye was painted on her forehead and magic made it look like it was moving around.

"She's a girl?" Elton asked.

"You were the one captured by her, how are you surprised?"

"They always keep their hoods on, it's like a cult thing and she sounds like a dude."

"I don't sound like a dude! That was magic from the hoodie!" she yelled in her normal, feminine voice.

"How many others are women who sound like dudes?"

"I don't sound like a dude!" she clapped her two hands together and a massive fist made of rocks reached up from beneath her and swung at them. It shattered upon impact on Zeeth and the rest rushed forward to attack her. Her forehead eye glared a much deeper red and a louder swooshing sound was heard behind her. A blue light was rushing at them and getting bigger every second. It finally got to where Iustus stood but no wall was in place to stop it.

"yeeEAAAAaaahh!!" he flew in through the wall and past the rest of them, crashing into a house behind them.

"Sinistra, get up."

"I told you to make a fist for me to crash into, why am I all the way back here?"

"Why didn't you stop yourself."

"Human slingshots don't have a stopping function, dammit! Your hood is off." Sinistra said.

"They tore it off. We have to kill them all now."

"Yeah, got it."

They both hovered in the air and held their hands towards each other. Page, Elton, and Zeeth were already running to each of them while they were talking and got really close. But all of their eyes glowed both red and blue and lines connected the two. In the middle where they met, a massive explosion shook the air, the wind blew all over the place and shrapnels of rocks flew everywhere. Page made tall walls of dirt, Elton hid with him, the rocks simply bounced off Zeeth and he blocked any from hitting Cuddles.

But red and blue lines bound themselves around the two groups, taking Zeeth and cuddles in one and Page and Elton in the other. Suddenly, he felt a strong tug from the magical ropes and a sudden lurch around it. Like a slingshot, he felt himself being swung away which discombobulated him for a minute. He flew through the sky and hit the floor rolling soon after, using his slimes to protect him and cuddles.

Sinistra flew directly behind him. Zeeth flung a few spikes, a mixture of ice and greystone, which were demolished before hitting him, clashing with the air and breaking apart. Sinistra hovered down next to him, waved his hand, and gusts of wind pushed him back.

"Are you a girl too?"

"I am killing you, not chatting."

A hole filled with unending black like what it looked like to be teleported formed, slightly smaller than their heads, above his hands. From the pitch black, a condensed beam of energy blasted out like a mighty spear. It was even stronger than the energy blast the eye from hell had. He just barely dodged it and swung Cuddles out of the way. He could feel the intensity of the attack.

While he was distracted, another ragged hole appeared and shot out another equally powerful spear blast. Cuddles flew away and Zeeth jumped up. Sinistra looked at Cuddles and decided Zeeth was the priority, the bird probably didn't even know what was happening.

"How are you dodging?!" he said angrily.

"How are you shooting such powerful beams? Your magic flow is not strong enough for this. Don't all of these require some sort of circle to make?" Zeeth asked.

He made another portal appear but Zeeth threw a spear into it. The energy beam didn't come out, instead, a little blood spurted out and the hole disappeared. Underneath the hood, Zeeth could see Sinistra grind his teeth.

"So that's how you do it?" Zeeth asked.

"It only requires a skill." Sinistra said, "I make them and kill people."

"No, even if such a skill existed, you would need time to build up the mana for it."

"Apparently I'm special. I don't need to do so."

"Lies. I thought you said we were fighting and not chatting."

"I said I was killing you."

"Yeah, I think that's all a lie. You don't kill anyone, you make teleportation holes, and others fire beams of energy out of it. And you are finally talking to distract me, to confuse me so I won't figure it out. But you were, alas, too late."

Sinistra ground his teeth even harder and said, "fine. So what? Even if you do know what it is, you can block ALL THESE!"

He swung his hands up once more and ten portals appeared all around him. Beams of energy fired out and seemed to track him. They didn't curve, but the portals moved around and followed his movements.

He threw more greystone spears but blasts of energy that were not fired yet directed themselves at the spears and demolished them.

Black said to him, 'allow me to talk.'

"Sinistra. I don't wish for us to fight. While I have figured out your tricks, I do not believe you have all of mine." Zeeth said under Black's influence. "I believe we can be friends, accomplices using our powers to do the same thing."

"Reviving our third leader?"

"We can help, can we not?"

"Unless you want to give up the skeleton. You speak differently." and he opened another portal for an energy beam.

"We are not giving up Elton," Zeeth said, being himself again. He used the elasticity in the slimes in his palm to boost an aerodynamic spear into the portal. Half of it was cut off, but the sharp half was still able to get through.

It wasn't long before the very air they were in was dense with magic from all the portals. A specifically large portal was made and two massive beams of energy fired out. He dodged between the two, drew the speed circle he took from Sato onto the floor, and bounced into the portal. The last thing he heard was Sinistra yelling, "Nooo!!"

"Kekeke. Wonder what he has here," the inside of the portal was just a single room just big enough for about three people to cram in there. Magic circles were carved into the floor and walls where mana was being pulled through from tanks in the ceiling. A man stood in the center trying to pull the energy from the circles together, releasing the mana he pulled in surprise when he saw Zeeth burst through. Zeeth hit him hard in the chest and blasted the door off from behind him.

Zeeth walked out of the room with him dragging along by the collar. The rest of the room was filled with small cubicles just like this one but only half as big. This room seemed to be the only room that was able to make two beams of energy.

"Where am I?" Zeeth asked, shaking the man. But he had already knocked him out, the single push had caused him to froth from the mouth and pass out. Chucking him back in the room, he busted down another door. Circles were drawn onto the walls only this time but the door hitting the woman inside stopped her magic usage.

"Gah! No! No, I knew this day would happen, I said it was only time! Please, I am a hostage! Okay, I'm not a hostage, she's paying me, but I was pushed into this! I didn't want to hurt, I only-"

"Shut up," Black said.

She instantly shut her mouth with a grimace.

"Where am I?" asked Zeeth.

"Somewhere in Birmalu. Under the Southern East corner."

"Who's paying you."

"Sinistra, the girl who opens the portals."

"So she was a girl."

He felt a wave of mana rush through the place and Sinistra's clear voice said from all around him, "the enemy has invaded the premises, attack the Dual Room. Use synchronize A."

Bright yellow beams of energy blasted through the walls one after another at the large room he just burst from. The entire place was wrecked, smoke and debris covered the area. Every other room was revealed and a person was standing in each of them.

"Easy enough, now that you all revealed yourselves," Zeeth said, smiling a little. Jumping around with his robotically enhanced feet, he bashed each of them with his slimes held in his hand like a massive punching bag as a weapon. Each of them was bashed into the ground, flattening them like a lifeless body bag.
