Shark

Faolan looked back and noticed that its stomach was open, and the entrails swaying as it jumped back and forth. Knowing that he had no other choice but to kill it, he could only feel pity for the creature. It most likely died in a horrific way, and now it was forcibly changed, with no way to go back to normal. And Faolan was not about to bring the corpse of this thing to its mother either. Quickly looking around he found a door and rushed through it, turning around and raising his weapon. The Child's head peered through the door way, with a bloody misshapen smile on its face, Faolan finally got a real good look at it. It had four spiderlike limbs coming from its back that went to points like a scythe. It had no lower half, being ripped off earlier in its haste. Now its entrails hanged out of the body, with a black like substance draining from its body. The top of the head was split open with a bundle of worms wiggling in the eye sockets. The smile opened and multiple tendrils came out of its mouth.

BANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANG-CLICK

Cursing himself he dropped the rifle and let it hang on his body as he grabbed his sword and rushed forward. The Child's tendrils recoiled back into its mouth as the bullets ripped through its small body. Wailing in pain it was not prepared to defend as the blade went straight through the top of its body and down. Slicing through the bundle of worms, the sound of multiple children screaming pierced Faolan's eardrums. Wincing in pain, Faolan tighten his grip on his sword, and quickly looked around. Checking his surrounding, his body tensed preparing for another conflict. Once the screaming subsided, he quickly moved to the edge of the doorway and quickly reloaded his M4.

'Sir, data analysis is complete on Shark is complete.' Skoll told Faolan through their telepathic link.

'Tell me, should we terminate or is there a chance for her to live?' Faolan responded.

'Shark has a unique blood signature that allows the infection to be suppressed and even enhance her natural born abilities. Suggestion: Keep alive and utilize as guard for the infectable.'

'Fine, wake her up and inform her of her new status.'

'What about the children's floor?'

'Have Hati deal with it, tell em to use fire or blades.'

'Understood.'

After giving out his orders, Faolan pressed on slowly.

Skoll quickly returned to the safe haven, bypassing multiple monstrosities. The ones that it killed without hesitation were the shaped like canines. With spines showing through torn skin that hung off the body. Elongated necks and with no flesh on the skulls, they walked on all fours and would scale the walls. The stomachs of each of these abominations were busted open, having the entrails trail behind the creature as it moved. It was when they were on the floor moving about, did they appear as canines. And it was an affront to Skoll who held the dna of multiple wolves. Biting into the skulls and ripping out the spines were the normal procedure for him. It felt happy as the skulls would be crushed between its mechanical jaws and the worms in the head became paste.

Once back at the safe haven, Skoll immediately went to Shark and placed both paws on her chest and sent voltage into her body. Her body started convulsing. Eyes snapped open and she pushed Skoll off her.

"What in the fuckery, was that. Sonovabitch that hurt worse then having a dildo in the ass for the first time. Goddamn, who the fuck shocked me!" Shark started yelling, before noticing a large mechanical Wolf sitting in front of her. "Wait why is this thing awake, I'm not dead so Wolf shouldn't be up. This isn't right. What the fuck happened after we were attacked?"

"Well Shark its like this, your partner got torn to shreds by the creature that showed up when we went to go provisions. So she is officially KIA, this happened a few days after you were knocked out after having the tentacle that pierced your body in the shoulder." Dr. Valencia explained. "Since you were unconscious and she died, the system saw fit to awake the Wolf."

"Let me talk to him, now." Shark demanded.
