A glaring party

Leo stole a glance at Mia as he drove before he reached for her hand. After a gentle squeeze, he let go of her hand and looked ahead as he continued driving. The brief touch seemed to snap her out of whatever reverie she had been in, and she looked at him.

"It's all going to be fine," he assured her calmly.

She didn't like to talk about what troubled her, but with one look, he could tell she was worried about a lot of things. Thankfully, she didn't bother to deny it as she sighed and said, "I hope so."

"So what exactly are you thinking about now?" He asked.

"A lot. Thinking about this coming week. My break is over, so I need to return to work. You will be traveling back. I cannot stop thinking about Linda, Mary, and Zee, and now I also have to worry about Jeremy and Chloe."

"Wow!" He breathed out. "That's a lot of thinking,"

"Yea." She said sadly.
