Intruders

Zach was the first to leave. He said he had something to do. Rachel was sad to let him go, but she had to and insisted on seeing him off. Zach politely declined, reminding her that she was drunk and telling her not to leave the group. He said goodbye to her and waved at the others before he left. 

He was on his phone, texting someone when he bumped into a person. Was he surprised when he saw Noah with the permanent glare on his face? The answer was no. In fact, he had suspected Noah had been waiting here for him. He had noticed how Noah stood up and left the private room as soon as he told Rachel he wanted to leave. 

"What is it?" Zach asked while placing his phone inside his back pocket. 

Without saying a word, Noah turned around and began to head outside. Zach followed since he was heading that way anyway and wanted to get done with whatever Noah had to say to him.
