A birthday party was being held for Christine Vicker in a private room at an exquisite hotel. The birthday party was supposed to be held at the Vickers' home, but plans were changed when her sister-in-law offered to host it at her hotel.

The Vickers were a big name in the country, so there were many elite families present there. This was an opportunity for every one of them because they could meet potential business partners or even love partners. So no one took it lightly, even bringing large gift boxes, expensive paintings, and so on. 

When Mira arrived, she tried not to let her emotions show as she stepped into the room after handing out her invite. Unfortunately for her, her parents and James' parents were standing together, having a conversation. 

James' mother saw her first and waved her over. Even though she was mad at James, his parents were like her parents, so she approached them with a genuine smile.
