Rachel ignored the knock on the door and continued to cry quietly for no particular reason. She felt very hurt and didn't know why, but she could not stop herself or take control of her emotions as they kept spilling and coming out in the form of tears. The door was knocked again, and she ignored it. She knew it was Noah, and she didn't want to have anything to do with him. After a while, the knock stopped and she let loose and cried out.
"Ray?"
She heard the familiar voice calling above her head and stiffened. How did he get in? Oh wait, she didn't lock her door with a key. She had thought he had walked away, so why did he come in?
Thankfully, the quilt covered her entire body, including her head, so he didn't see her face.
"Talk to me," he said softly before she felt the space beside her dip. He had just sat down on her bed.
