It was Monday. For two nights, Noah didn't return home. The more the hours dragged on, the more paranoid she became, wondering if she was the cause. In fact, she had gone past that stage of wondering if she was the cause. She was certain, without a doubt, that she was the cause of his sudden disappearance. The worst part was that she had asked Peter a couple of times about Noah but got no reasonable piece of information. Peter had said Noah went home and he had not been able to reach him, and had even added that he was suspecting Noah had taken a girl for a nice romantic weekend getaway, laughing like an idiot as he said so. She had stopped asking for fear that he would suspect something. But now she was very worried again. It was already Monday evening and still no word from him.
