When I was about to sleep I received a long message from Nick,
** "Jenna I'm really sorry about today , I really didn't mean to do that. You are really a special person to me, I owe Jemmy on this one as she once helped me during my tough situation. I hope you understand and I will be having a day off after the meeting let's just chill at your house".
He was genuinely being nice I thought that I was being mean to him. I should appreciate a good friend like him in my life it is Jemmy who was causing problems and I should be more acceptable. So I texted him,
** " It's okay Nick, I was just not happy that you didn't mention it to me, it was a thing decided between us that we would share everything so I expect the same from you, don't worry I'm not mad at you , hope to see you soon , sleep well".
** " Thank you Jenna , take care see you tomorrow! "
And I slept as I had to attend the board meeting.
The next day I was all set to leave for the board meeting and I left, when I reached the office, Nick was waiting for me near the place. As soon as I came near to him he hugged me tightly.
"I'm sorry Jenna".
"Nick we are near your office, leave me".
" I'll leave you if you're not mad".
" I'm not mad Nick chill ,get away".
" This sounds better now I'm happy".
" You're annoying when did you turn into a cheesy person".
" I'm a cheesy person , Whatever Jenna I want you to know if in future anything bothers you ,I should be the person who should know it"
" Only if there is no Jemmy to create a mess". I mocked him and we both laughed and left for the meeting.
I learned a thing that no matter how much you're angry you need to put aside your ego because friend like him don't appear in life everytime so don't lose them.
We started with the meeting and everyone was happy about Nick's merch and they told him that he should promote his merch by wearing them sometimes.The meeting ended and Nick turned to me,
"Let's go to your house now and spend some time".
"Okay let's go".
We reached my house and I told him that I had to do dishes because I was in no mood to do that yesterday night.
"Okay then I'll help you to do it too".
"You don't have to sit in the drawing room and chill".
" I can do it don't worry, Jenna you should stop drinking so much of coffee you drank four cups of coffee till now ?"
" Oh no Nial was here yesterday night he was passing by so he dropped at my house".
" Nial was here..???! did he sleep here?"
" What? offcourse not Nick, we just talked and sat in the garden ".
And he started giving me looks,
" Nial is a really good person though".
"Good for you , I'm done with the dishes I'll go watch something". And he left the kitchen with a spooky face.
He looked so cute when he was jealous.
"Nick the next week we have to attend your mum's wedding".
"Oh yes we need to go shopping Jenna!"
" I think we should visit your mom once again before the wedding".
" I'm going to live with them for like three days before the wedding would you like to come?"
" I mean I would love to where is the wedding?"
"Countryside baby, in the woods all comfy vibes".
" Sounds so much fun , it would be so relaxing right?"
" Yeah I can't wait to attend it Jenna".
" I think you should give her a gift and should write her a letter too that would be so amazing".
" Will go shopping and buy her and my sister something".
" Okay I'll accompany you only if you buy me a pizza".
