To the destination!(chptr 35)
The day came when we left for the wedding to the countryside. I was travelling with Nick for the first time.. And I thought he gave me a hint last time that he wanted to date me. But I don't want to date a person who just wants to date me due to attraction I wanted to be with someone who has a mutual desire to be with me . And Nick definitely was not that person till now.
"Jenna you know Emma Alex?"
"Yeah she's an amazing model, why?"
"I'm doing a music album with her , it's my next project and the stakes are really high".
" Oh...I know you would do great but I haven't seen you writing anything".
"I've already written it in the past but it's not connecting, something is missing".
" The emotions and relatibility is what you're talking about? "
" Exactly I think the essence of true emotions in my voice is lacking but however I have to release it I've to listen to my team as people invest in my song".
" True that don't worry it will do great".
We reached the destination , it was so beautiful , there was a lake near to the place and a small garden and it felt such a romantic place to marry someone.
"This place is so adorable Nick, isn't it?"
"It is, will take a walk around the place in the evening let's meet mom first".
" Yeah let's go".
We entered the house where everyone was staying and we finally met his mom,
"Hey welcome you guys, Jenna I'm so happy you came".
" Thank you aunt. I dare not refuse your invitation".
And we started talking and gave the gifts which we bought and they were more than happy to see it and then Nial entered the house.
"Hello everyone , thanks for inviting me miss Rodrigues".
"Don't mention Nial,come in".
" Jenna I'll go look after the preparations , I'll see you later".Nick told me.
" Yeah sure".
And then Nial came to see me.
" Hey Jenna glad you're here".
"Offcourse, now we all can enjoy more, good to see you again Nial".
" Let's go outside, it is really beautiful out there".
" Sure I would love to but just keep your luggage somewhere".
And we went near the lake and sat down on the ground.
" I crave for moments like this, beautiful weather , place and no work".
" That's true Nial, I wonder where artists like you find inspiration for your songs".
" From people, experiences and stories, don't you like places like these Jenna? "
" I really do, I'm planning to buy a place like this and you know I already own a house in the woods".
It was already getting dark and I heard a certain noise and because of reflex I held Nial's hand and he looked into my eyes and then I removed my hand,
"I'm sorry I am abit scared of dark."
"Really? And what if this place is haunted Jenna?"
And he started laughing,
" You..!!! what fun you guys find troubling me, let's leave it's getting dark".
" Yes we must leave , its not safe here".
And we started walking back. The Lake was near a bridge which was abit far from the house and it was a rough route so Nial held my hand suddenly.
"It is too slippery over here let me help you".
I found it genuine so I didn't questioned it.
" Nial,do you read books?"
"I do , I'm a book worm".
"Shut up don't tell me! really? "
" Yes offcourse I've a small library in my house".
" You're so mean you never mentioned it Nial ".
" I'll take you there when we're back".
" I would love to pay a visit , we can exchange some books so that I get to know what kind of genre you like".
" Yes sure, I didn't knew you love reading books".
And we returned to the place and we forgot to leave our hands as we just kept talking about the books and we were literally involved in it and suddenly Nick bumped on us.
"Why are you guys holding hands? Jenna what's wrong?"
And we realized it that we were still holding hands and instantly moved it,
" We went at the lake side Nick and it was slippery out there so Nial helped me".
" Whatever let me show you your room Jenna". And he kept his hand on my shoulder and dragged me to the room.
