Engaged? (chptr 46)

We got our food and sat on the table and later when we were done with the food we just walked around my house and kept talking,

"Jenna has anyone told you that you should try for modeling? "

" Yes some people have but I don't think so".

" Why you're confident , you've an attractive face and you're fit you should give it a chance. Tell me would you like to appear in my next music album? "

And I laughed hard when he asked me this,

" Are you serious Nial? what are you saying?"

"I'm not kidding Jenna , I think you will be the best for it I'm writing something on friendship".

" Shut up Nial ! " And we kept talking and didn't realise as it was 5 in the morning. I got to know about him so much. With all his life stories happened till now I thought that he was really a genuine person his political views and the way he talked about his family I could really say that it was real . After all this I hoped that he should get an amazing lady in his life because he deserved it.

"I should leave Jenna now I shouldn't trouble you more".

"Hey don't say that you're really one of the best people I've met and I'm so happy I met you Nial".

" That means alot to me Jenna , I'll get going then see you soon".

And he left and I went to sleep as I was really tired and sleepy.

I woke up after getting some sleep and went to work this routine just continued for like 9 days. Getting up , doing house chores and leaving for office until this day. Ten days have passed and Nick didn't contact me for a single day I even tried calling his manager but he told me that Nick was very busy so like any other day I left for the office and when I reached Mr Ning looked at me giving me spooky looks,

"Miss Jenna why are you acting so normal?"

"What do you mean Mr Ning? "

" Haven't you watched the news doing rounds over the internet and the news channels? "

" Mr Ning you can see that I've been just working these days, what happened? "

" Nick's team just confirmed his engagement with Emma Alex".

" What the hell? do you know what are you saying? "

" Have a look boss his team has confirmed it online and even Emma's team has done that".

I surfed through all news and I couldn't believe it I asked Mr Ning to leave and I kept calling Nick and his manager but both of them were not responding to it. I kept texting Nick. Everyone was talking about it, I just couldn't believe it. My heart was paining and I felt helpless so I called Nial and asked him to meet me and he was pretty quick to reach me as he could sense my shattered voice. I asked him to come to my house and I drove back to my place the complete ride I was just praying that the news would be fake but Nick's team confirmed it.

"Jenna are you okay? what's wrong?"

I started sobbing and I was into his arms and I collapsed,

"Did you see the news they are saying Nick got engaged to Emma , Nick's team confirmed it and he is not responding to my call Nial".

" Don't cry Jenna I'll do something".

I was just weeping in his arms and he was just holding me tight, I know he didn't confessed to me but we were really into each other.

"Jenna my friend from Nick's team just told me that they are returning this evening don't worry".

" I thought Nick really loved me , he almost confessed to me".

" He confessed to you wait? are you guys dating?".

And he kinda moved away from me and looked shocked.

"No we're not but he almost confessed to me". I couldn't control myself but Nial was just consoling me. The time passed and Nial told me Nick returned at his house amd I was shocked as he was living at my place. I didn't knew how to react so me and Nial just for his house.
