A Sting Of Guilt Inside

"Y-Yes. Tell me." I bravely talked back.

"Your mom is pregnant with you. They're very very excited to see you and to make sure you're Mommy will be safe until she gave birth to you, because Yuahn, your father can't do that because he will manage your family business. They hired a personal helper for your Mom, without them knowing that their helper is also pregnant." She paused as if recalling on something or someone from the past.

"What now? I don't see any sense." I'm very puzzled right now.

She glared at me. "I'm not done yet."

Ow, okay. "Continue." I encourage her.

"Her name is Martina or Tina. Tina is willing to be their helper, because of her situation. Tina's husband is the complete opposite of your father. He never treated Tina right and she even experience violence from her husband, Carlos. Your mom's on her due that time and Tina's almost five months pregnant but it's not obvious, because she's wearing loose shirts. Your mom is starting to feel you wanting to come out and so she called your father but your father is on a meeting that time." She paused and then look at me.

"And then?" I furrowed my brows.

"Accidentally, your mother slipped but thanks to Tina who save your mother and you, but instead she's the one who fell to the solid ground. Tina's in pain but she's more focus on your mother. So with the help of the driver, they brought your mom to the nearest hospital."

So that's it?

"On their way to the hospital, Tina lost her baby the same time your mom gave birth to you. That's why I brought you here to take care of your own mom's pregnancy, isn't that right and fair enough?" The woman Aida said all of that and I'm still digesting all the information. How come I didn't know that? Ugh! I feel a sting of guilt inside me.

But come to think of it, it's not really my fault though. I sighed. I look at manang and I feel helpless... something tugged on my heart strings.

"If weren't because of Martina you're not alive Mielle, so please help your mom... alone." I can see the sincerity in her voice and eyes.

"I have a questions first."
