WITHIN SIX weeks I learned a lot of things. The last two weeks was spend with Vincent. I really really enjoyed his company, sometimes he will take me to his plantation everytime Nanny won't be in need of my help and during my mother's check up. I can't help but be amazed how productive he is. In his 21st year he already accomplished all those things.
I admired him even more.
Tomorrow's my last day here in year 1999. I'm easily attached to the environment here and now it's kind of difficult leaving. I'm thinking of this mansion, Nanny Aida, and Vincent.
Will I see them again if I visit this place?
But that I'm sure will be very sad, because they'll be older than me like twice my age and I'm sure they will never notice me. Now, I'm starting feelin' alone.
"Miela?"
"Yes mo- I mean ma'am?" I suddenly pull out from my reverie hearing my mother's call.
"I'm still thinking of a name for my daughter. Do you have a name in mind?" She asked and that made me shock. So that mean she's not the one who made my name? But who? Oh my, did Martina the one who gave me name?
"Mielle Ahneele ma'am. Name your daughter Mielle Ahneele." I smiled at her, I hope she won't mind if I named it that way as if I took it from mine, 'Miel'a.
"Great! I like that! That will be as beautiful as her." She giggled and I remember Veronica.
I guess, I should make it up with her, she's nothing but a good seatmate and a friend to me.
That is one of the things I learned in my more than a month of staying here.
