SUDDENLY! A loud thud was heard downstairs and when I opened my eyes. It.. it was already dark outside. The room was dimly illuminated by the moon and as I turn my direction to the door. I can hear faint screams coming from downstairs.

Wha... what's happening... The sounds downstairs echoed an unspeakable torment. The eerie silence lingered into the whole room, only my sharp breaths were heard. I slowly stood up from the bed. Getting a better look at my surroundings.

The once brightly lit room downstairs is covered in a veil of darkness. Chills ran toward my spine as I stepped foot on the wooden floor. It began to creak.

"Where... where is everyone? Why are the lights turned off right now?" Questions lingered in my head, as I slowly got off my bed. I went to the desk lamp. Grabbing my phone from one of the drawers to check what time it was.
