Power Hierarchy of the World Net

The World Net is a place where having more power meant more money and authority. Now, you might be wondering. Why is that the case? The reason why that is the case is because having more power meant that one could remove more stray bits from the World Net, allowing them to obtain more money. Not only that, by having more power, one would be able to have a better life on Earth, as well as ignore a portion of the Earth's laws the stronger a person got.

Since there are a great amount of people using the World Net on a daily basis, it would take a long time for the World Net to make a list of users that have great strength amongst the massive amount of users it has. To reduce the amount of time needed for the World Net to make this list, it was decided that users would be categorized through power ranks, where the higher ranks could be achieved through certain methods.

The World Net's power ranks are as follows:

Cleaner rank - the lowest rank possible in the World Net's power hierarchy. It is also the rank given to every user in the World Net when they start out. At the highest level achievable for the rank, one could exert abilities that go beyond the limits of the average human body.

Devourer rank - the second lowest rank in the World Net's power hierarchy. Obtaining this rank meant that the user has now established a foothold in the landscape of the World Net, exerting strength that would not lose out to 10 users at the Cleaner rank at once. Even at the first level of this rank, one could exert abilities far beyond what a peak level Cleaner rank could show, bordering on the line of superhuman.
