After leveling up to Level 2, he had obtained 8 status points to allocate to any stat he wanted. Although he thought about allocating these 8 status points to other stats for a short bit, in the end, he ultimately decided to allocate the 8 status points onto Agility yet again.

Ding!

After allocating two points onto Agility, the option to add more points onto it had been blacked out, which stupefied Jean quite a bit. Although the option had been blacked out, Jean tried to add more points onto the stat, only hearing bell sounds resounding near his ears whenever he tried to do so.

Whoosh!

Not long after, a holographic screen appeared beside Jean's specific stat screen, which was filled to the brim with words. Since the holographic screen appeared while he was trying to allocate more points onto Agility, it meant that the information on it was related to the incident that was happening, right?

After taking a look at the holographic screen that recently popped up, it seemed that that was the case.

'The user cannot allocate any more points onto Agility. In order for the user to allocate more Agility, the user must allocate a point to the Vitality and Strength stat, increasing the maximum amount of Agility the user can have by 2 points.'

"Eh?" This was the first time Jean had come across a prompt such as this. Even in the multiple amount of TIMMORPGs he had played before, he had never come across a system that restricted a player from allocating all of their status points onto a single stat. He wondered a bit as to why that was the case, with a thought surfacing in his mind around half a minute later.

"Is it because the status points also affect the real body?" Jean could not help but mutter, unsure whether this was actually the case. Although he had heard from here and there that those who were users of the World Net showed abilities at the level of athletes and even surpassed that after becoming users for a long time, he was still skeptical since his father and mother, who had been long time users of the World Net, did not show any of that at all.

"Should I ask dad about it?" This was a thought that popped up in his mind not long after, only for him to dismiss it as he had a thought that his father was still running towards the Dragon Den, and he did not want to disturb him even though he was running. A thought regarding the rank beside his name also popped up, but he decided to save that thought for later.

"Hmm…" Jean pondered for a bit more, before deciding to ask the system about this dilemma of his. "Surely, the system would answer my questions, right?"

"Well, it's worth a shot," Jean said a few seconds later, before muttering, "System, why can't I allocate more points to the Agility stat?"

Whoosh!

Surprisingly, the text on the holographic screen beside his specific stat screen changed in an instant. Noticing the change, Jean read through the changed text. It was then that he now knew that he had another method to know more information about the World Net, which was through asking the system.

'The reason as to why the user cannot allocate more status points towards the Agility stat is due to the way the human body works outside the World Net. In one way or another, all of the stats are related to one another, which means that a stat cannot be increased unless a certain stat related to the stat is increased beforehand.' These were the words written on the holographic screen. Not long after, the text on the screen changed after sensing that Jean was finished reading the text.

'Take the Agility stat for example. Outside the World Net, the human body's agility has something to do with the speed of movement of the user, as well as the human's body overall flexibility and reflexes. Now, the human's body could not show a high level of agility if the user does not have a high level of strength, which has something to do with the limits one could lift, as well as the force one could exert. Of course, one could not show a high level of agility and strength if one did not have a high level of vitality, which has something to do with the body's speed of pumping blood out to where it is needed, the body's regeneration rate when one is injured, as well as the body's overall build.'

After reading through the second paragraph of text shown by the holographic screen, it was then that all his doubts regarding the status points affecting the body were dispelled, understanding what the system was trying to imply. Although he still wondered as to why he didn't see his mother and father showing great prowess even though they were users of the World Net, Jean just chalked it up to the fact that they suppressed their full power, just like how John only showed his full power at the time when he was heading to the Dragon Den.

Now knowing that he had no way to circumvent around the restrictions, Jean's plans of achieving a great extreme in the Agility stat was slightly modified, the plan now changed to achieving a high enough Agility stat under the limits of the system, wherein he could still show great prowess amongst equally leveled peers.

"Speaking of which, other than [Keen Reflexes], I don't have any other skill," Jean muttered as he allocated a point each to Strength and Vitality, before allocating 2 points to Agility. With 2 more status points to allocate, and the fact that he could not allocate more points to Agility since his Strength and Vitality was lacking, he decided to allocate those 2 remaining points to Strength and Vitality again.

Whoosh!

'2 points have been allocated to Vitality. The Vitality stat is now at 12 points.' Just like before, a holographic screen appeared in front of his field of vision to let him know of the changes to his stats and what it did. This time though, it just replaced the paragraph of text he was reading a while ago.

'2 points have been allocated to Strength. The Strength stat is now at 12 points.'

'4 points have been allocated to Agility. The Agility stat is now at 22 points.'

'The user's maximum HP has been increased by 20 points, increasing it to 125 points.'

'The user's Regeneration Rate has been increased to 6 percent.'

'The user's Attack stat has been increased to 24 points.'

'The user's Armor Break Rate has been increased to 1.1 percent.'

'The user's Movement Speed stat has been increased to 22 points, allowing the user to move at a maximum speed of 8 meters per second.'

'The user's Attack Speed stat has been increased to 22 points, allowing the user to attack at a maximum rate of 4 hits per second.'

'The user's Evasion Rate has been increased to 4.4 percent.'

After glossing over the improvement allocating the unused status points brought, he then closed his specific stat screen and opened up his general stat screen to find out how much experience he needed to achieve the next level.

"I needed 200 experience points to get to Level 2, how much experience would I need this time?" he muttered as he started to run towards the inner area of the Azure Forest again.

Whoosh!

Not long after, the general stat screen appeared along the side of his field of vision, allowing him to look at what was in front of him, yet still have the option to look at his status screen. After taking a quick look at the general stat screen, especially in the area where his needed experience was located, he could not help but focus even more on the terrain in front of him, making sure that he avoided all of them as he ran at his new maximum speed.

"What the fuck? I need 576 XP to level up to the next level? That's almost three times as much XP as before!" Jean screamed out in slight despair.

Since his maximum movement speed was now 8 meters per second, and add in the fact that he now had a general idea of the area's terrain, it took him even less time than before he left the area with his dad. Without stopping, he headed towards an area of the Azure Forest that wasn't occupied by other players, his aim to grind as much experience as possible.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

With him running at his maximum speed, it would make sense that it would garner the attention of the users he passed along the way, with them becoming distracted by the fact that he was running way faster than what a starting user could do at their maximum. Of course, with them becoming distracted, this in turn led to them being attacked by the rabbits they were facing. All of the users he passed along the way did not have enough to fight against wolves.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Eventually, Jean was able to arrive in an area unoccupied by other users, charging towards a rabbit at full speed.

"Agh!" With a scream, he used the momentum he built up as he channeled this force towards his fist, sending it through the abdomen of the rabbit he started to fight with.

Bang! Whoosh!

Due to the slight improvement in his Strength and Agility stat, as well as the fact that he was running at his full speed instead of being stationary, an audible sound of bones breaking could be heard from the rabbit that was flung into the air by Jean's punch. Soon after, Jean made his way towards the end of the rabbit's flight trajectory before pummeling the rabbit down the ground, taking less hits to kill it than before due to the increase in the damage he could deal.

And so, with slightly improved stats, the rumor of a user killing rabbits in a frenzy had spread even further than before through the users that frequented the Azure Rabbit, calling Jean the 'Rabbit-killing Demon'.

Over an hour has passed since Jean entered the Azure Forest to grind experience and equipment. At this point in time, the sun was nearing the peak of the sky, shining its rays down directly at the users in the Azure Forest, as well as the Stray Bits that roamed the area. Of course, this did not affect Jean, who was madly dashing around to kill as much rabbits as possible in a short amount of time, killing over 80 rabbits already.

Of course, due to the amount of rabbits he had killed so far, it wasn't surprising for Jean to obtain a piece of equipment, or two if he was lucky. But for some unknown reason, as if the heavens were helping him, he had obtained 3 pieces of equipment from killing over 50 rabbits.

"Haah…haah…" It was also around this point in time that Jean stopped his killing spree for now, taking a rest under the shade of a nearby tree as he looked at the equipment he had obtained.

Whoosh!

Opening up his inventory, the first three boxes on the inventory screen were occupied. The first box was occupied by a bone that had one end roughly sharpened. One could even see dried up bone marrow if they looked at the icon of the item closely. The second box was occupied by a rabbit skull with its cranial area shattered. Not only that, there was a loop of string fastened to the hinge point of the rabbit skull's jaws, the reason possibly being the fact that one could lose it if they didn't fasten it on their heads tightly. The third and final box contained the most gruesome looking piece of equipment out of the three, which seemed to be a chestplate made out of rib bones of multiple rabbits.

Nonetheless, since John told Jean that there were equipment that looked way worse than the equipment he was about to wear right now, Jean did not show any signs of disgust on his face anymore, unlike the first time he arrived in this place.

"Identify," he commanded the system, bringing up a holographic screen with a detailed list of the equipments' stats not long after.

Not long after, he equipped these three pieces of equipment, with the [Sharpened Rabbit Femur] appearing on his right hand. Right now, he looked like a great warrior of a tribe from the past, save for the fact that underneath the bones he wore were clothes that befitted someone from the modern era. Looking at the sharpened bone he was holding, he pondered over something for a bit, then said to himself, "Hmm…I'll go and kill a few hundred rabbits to see if they drop any other piece of equipment. I'll also use this time to get myself used to attacking multiple times in one second with a weapon equipped."

After that, he stood up from where he was resting, removing the dust on the back side of his pants, before looking at the copious amounts of rabbits that roamed the area.

With a slight grin on his face, he started to dash towards one of the nearby rabbits with the sharpened bone on his hand raised upwards.

Whoosh!

In a matter of an instant, Jean arrived in front of the nearby rabbit without the rabbit even being able to notice Jean approaching it. Using the momentum he had accumulated through the dash, he channeled its force towards the sharpened bone he was holding before using the pointy end to slash at the rabbit's abdomen.

Whoosh!

'Critical! You have dealt 31 damage to the [Rabbit].'

Due to the force behind the slash, the rabbit was sent flying, albeit only a small distance due to the angle of the slash. Nonetheless, he dashed towards the location where the rabbit landed, using the momentum he accrued during the travel to slash at another part of the rabbit, aiming for one of the rabbit's hind legs.

Then after that…the rabbit basically became a target for Jean to practice attacking with a weapon multiple times in one second.

Not only that, the myth of the Rabbit-killing Demon had also become more widespread thanks to it, sending shivers down the spine of the users that frequented the Azure Forest.
