Winds of destruction

"ARGGHHHH!!!" The unified voices of the Azure Deer members rang out as they were caught in a giant cyclone that flung them all over the place.

Blowing through them like a storm, Grim sent dozens of magic knights flying with a simple flick of his wrists.

[A/n: I know some of you get that reference.]

'What is this guy!?'

Somehow managing to stay on her feet, Fragil felt her clothes been blown violently as he companions were tossed all over the place.

Using her arms to block her face, she barely managed to keep her eyes open as Grim's figure grew closer and closer.

"Is this all you guys are capable of? Not gonna lie, I'm kind of disappointed." Grim said as he started throwing wind orbs... Air bombs? Yeah, air bombs at them.

Watching them explode and create explosions of air that devastated the magic knights was quite interesting.

"Y'know, for a squad that produced so many outstanding magic knights, you guys are really subpar."

'We have to stop him!'

Gritting her teeth together, Fragil's grimoire opened up as she raised her hands into the air.

[Snow Creation Magic: Unclimbed Ice Wall]

Bursting out from the ground, a thick sheet of ice blocked the shockwaves created from the air bombs and protected the magic knights long enough for them to ground themselves and counter attack.

"Oh?" Grim's eyebrow rose.

"NOW!!" A magic knight yelled as dozens of Azure Deer squad members jumped over the ice wall and started raining down spells.

"THAT'S BETTER!!" Grim grinned.

Closing his eyes and taking in a deep breath, his eyes flashed open as the green aura around him and his grimoire intensified to an unbelievable degree.

"As an element that I'm not used to using a lot, I've got to admit, its versatility is off the charts."

"What's he doing?"

Standing motionless and waiting for the attacks to land, the air around Grim started to become visible as it started revolving around him at high speeds creating a ring of air at his feet that started sprouting out mini tornadoes into the air.

Watching the enemy magic about to land on him, Grim spoke a single word.

"Condense."

*BOOM!!*

*BOOM!!*

*BOOM!!*

"Did... Did we get him?"

Watching all those attacks land on the boy, many magic knights thought that there was no way that such a young mage could withstand the power of so many mages. But to their dread, the moment the air cleared, the sight of Grim standing there completely unharmed while being surrounded by violent winds that had condensed themselves around him and into the shape of of a ball with him him at its center.

"So it can be used defensively as well... Well ain't that something." Grim said to himself as he admired the wind barrier around him.

"H-How is this possible..."

Even Fragil, a noble of the clover kingdom who sported above average power as a mage was astonished by this sight. Besides her captain, she never thought she'd see the day that a single person could withstand the combined might of a near complete magic squad.

"*Yawn* I guess I should end this now."

'End this? What does he mean?'

Looking at the dumbfounded expressions of the Azure Deer magic knights, Grim merely snapped his fingers and watch as the giant air bomb that was protecting him exploded outwards.

---

*Cough* *Cough*

Coughing up several mouthfuls of blood, Fragil's originally white hat was stained red as she and the rest of her squad were covered from head to toe in dust and dirt. After releasing all the compressed air within his air bomb, the following explosion was something unimaginable. The force generated from the attack was not only powerful enough to violently toss everyone back, it had practically pushed their base to the verge of collapse as pieces of the building were starting to break apart and crumble. And throughout this entire endeavor, the source of this destruction had yet to take a single step.

Struggling to even lift her head up from the floor, the desolate landscape laid out before her shocked Fragil's kind heart as she saw the miserable state of her comrades. From sight alone she could tell that many of them had suffered broken bones. It was even worse for the ones that had been slammed into the already crumbling base as the glass shards from Grim's earlier attack were still laying around.

Looking at his work, Grim released a small sigh as he stepped over the broken bodies of the Azure Deer members and made his way over to Fragil.

While he hadn't used any of his true skill in this fight, the mana cost for those air bombs were pretty horrifying. He once again had to thank King for making the wish to make him part elf and giving him ridiculous mana reserves. While Air Bomb itself wasn't a spell, it was definitely had enough destructive power to rival one.

"Some miss Tormenta, on a scale of 1 to 10 how tormented do you currently feel?" Crouching down in front of the distressed woman, Grim showed off his kindest smile.

"I-I-

"Yes?"

"Who are you?" She finally managed to say before passing out.

"Hmm?" Just as he was about to reply with a snarky comment, Grim noticed his grimoire shining.

"Oh?" Seeing three new wind spells appear in it, Grim couldn't help but scratch his head.

'Seriously, what are the conditions to get new spells?'

Breathing out lightly, Grim straightened himself as Luck and Finral appeared by his side.

"That was so awesome!!" Luck praised as he started looking at the damage caused by Grim's last attack. "You were like, condense, and then BOOM!! Big explosion, lots of screams and now the building's collapsing!!"

"We're dead, we're so dead..." Finral kept repeating with lifeless eyes.

Looking at the sky, Grim reckoned that they could probably fit in one more squad before having to call it quits. While he could probably go all day, the captains would be returning soon and besides... Finral's mental state wasn't the best at the moment, the sooner this day was over for him the better it'd be.

"Where we going next!?" Luck asked bursting with energy.

"Hmm... Lets go to the Coral Peacocks."
