Kojiro Day at Home

As the sun sets, Kojiro decides to close the store because he is already running out of some of the ingredients and needs to be re-supplied tomorrow morning. As he walks upstairs, he sees Kunou playing with Sakura on the couch. He doesn't know how it happened, but when Sakura had a break that afternoon, Kunou dragged Sakura to the park and suddenly became a friend. He doesn't mind, though, as he thinks Sakura needs a friend the same age as her.

"Hello, Sakura Kunou. How are you doing?"

"It's fun!"

"Yes!"

He smiles at both of them before shaking his head and says.

"Come on, you too. You need to take a bath before I need to take Kunou to her home."

"Yes, Nii-chan"

"Yes!"

He nodded at them before going to take a shower. He takes his towel and goes to the bathroom. When Kojiro and Sakura arrive in the house, he forgets to clean up the unused room he uses as the supply room. When they finish cooking this morning, Kojiro and Sakura begin cleaning up her supposed room. He puts out the item in the room while Sakura cleans it with her broom. While the room is not yet ready for her to sleep in, it can be used as her private bathroom. The bedroom only needs a bed, some table, and a chair, and then something she will want for her room.

As he takes a bath, Kojiro begins to think about his charges. The first thing he charges is to Anti-Magic Weapon (12/300), and Anti-Magic Armor (12/275), then he uses his charge for Doomsday Device (3/???@@#$), Forcefield (3/200), and lastly, he added his charges to Brewing (3/15). He adds his charge at Brewing because he wants to make his tea have the same or surpass the tea EMIYA makes.

When he gets out of the bathroom, he goes to his bedroom and sees that both Kunou and Sakura are still taking a shower. He placed down Kunou and Sakura cloth that Kunou's guardian decided to take from the palace early this afternoon when she decided to play with Sakura.

After doing that, Kojiro walks outside and looks at the Karasu Tengu that has a duty to guard Kunou before inviting him to go inside. At first, the Karasu Tengu hesitates to come inside, but in the end, he gets inside.

He served him some coffee that was left inside his brewing machine and also gave him some curry that he cooked before closing.

"So, how's your day?"

As he sits down in front of the Karasu Tengu, he takes out a bottle of sake and places it down on the table and starts drinking.

"It was fine, Kojiro-sama"

"Really? Then that's good for you. Also, what is your name? I can't call you 'Hey, you' every time we meet right."

The Karasu Tengu chuckles a little before saying that his name is Hirano Kagemune. After eating his food, Kagemune looks at Kojiro and says.

"Kojiro-sama, this morning, Yasaka-sama ordered me to give this to you."

Kagemune takes out a file from the back of his wing and gives it to him. As he opened up the file, it was a profile of many cast members of DxD.

"What is this?"

"These are the people that will go to Kyoto next summer."

"I see, but why give it to me?"

"Yasaka-sama, though, that you should know the people that try to recruit you, Kojiro-sama."

"Recruit?"

"Yes. While they are still young, the leader of each group is the heir of a clan in the Underworld. Rias Gremory is the heir of Gremory, one of the richest clans in the Underworld. Sona Sitri is the heir of Sitri Clan, the clan that holds the most advanced hospital in the world. Seekvaira Agares, the heir to Agares clan, the clan that holds a position as the technology overseer to all technology in the Underworld. Sairaorg Bael, the heir to Bael Clan. Bael Clan is the hidden ruler of the Underworld. Lastly, Diodora Astaroth, The heir of the Astaroth clan."

When the last name comes up, Kojiro loses all his smile as he glares at the picture on the file. While glaring at the picture, Kojiro leaked a little bit of his killing intent that Kagemune felt right away.

"Kojiro-sama?"

He snaps from his thought when he hears Kagemune say his name.

"Sorry about that"

"Is there any problem, Kojiro-sama?"

"Yes, you see this?"

"Diodora Astaroth?"

"Yes, him. Inform Yasaka to watch this one carefully."

"Can I ask why?"

"Right now, I don't have enough evidence, but I hear this one have a weird… fetish"

"Ahhh, I see that kind of people, huh."

"I don't know what kind of people you are talking about, but if the one you are talking about is scum, then yes."

"I see, then I will inform Yasaka-sama about this information."

"Good because…"

Before Kojiro can finish his sentences, He hears Sakura's voice coming from upstairs.

"Nii-chan?!?"

"In here, Sakura! Informed Kunou to hurry up, I already cooked some food for our dinner!"

"Yes"

After saying that, he looks at Kagemune and says.

"Where are we?"

"Because…"

"Ah, yes, I need you to inform this to Yasaka because I don't want to kill him if he does something that I find detestable."

"Yes"

"Then go inform Yasaka. I will take Kunou to the palace tonight."

"Yes, Kojiro-sama. Excuse me"

Before Kagemune flies far away, Kojiro shouts.

"Also, call me Kojiro without -sama on it!"

"It was impossible, Kojiro-sama!"

He shakes his head after hearing Kagemune say it. Kojiro walks upstairs and sees both Kunou and Sakura wearing identical Miko outfits. He then takes Kunou and Sakura and then leads them downstairs to go eat some dinner.

"Ah! Nii-chan drinking again!"

Sakura shouts at him while pointing her little finger at him accusingly. Kojiro raises his hand in defeat and nods his head.

"Nii-chan bad! Only drinking once a week! I read from Grandpa Zelretch's book that drinking sake every day will be bad for you."

"Yes Yes"

"Promise only drinking once a week?"

"I…, I promise."

"Good!"

Kojiro sighs before going to the kitchen and thinking about getting on Zelretch. If not for him, then Sakura will not know about sake for some time. He sighs once more and begins to take their dinner to the table.

When he arrives at the table, he looks at Fou and looks at him expectantly.

"Of course you arrive when it's time for dinner."

"Fou Fou Kyuu"

"Yes, Yes, a T-bone steak cooked medium rare with only salt and pepper. I begin to regret giving you that steak. However! This will be the last steak you have this week."

"Fou!?!"

"Yes and no but"

"Fou Fou…"

"That will not work on me, you lazy creature"

"And that is my report."

"I see, dismiss."

"Yes!"

Yasaka looked at the folder in front of her. This is the list of people that are coming to Kyoto for their 'summer' tour. After hearing the report of one of her royal guards, she begins to regret giving them her agreement coming to Kyoto.

"Nurarihyon, do you have information about this Diodora Astaroth?"

"Yes, but not much. For the information that Kojiro-dono gives to us, I can confirm it without hesitation. Diodora Astaroth has particular fetish into a holy maiden and nuns. All of his peerages are the former Nuns and Holy Maiden that get excommunicated by the church."

"I see, then Nurarihyon, I need you and your agent to spy on Diodora Astaroth."

"Very well."

When she sees Nurarihyon disappear from her palace, she closes her eyes and sighs a little thinking about the headache that will come when the people from Kuoh.

"Right now, we are in late April. We still have some time until they arrive in Kyoto, which is around late September. I hope that will be enough."

While thinking about the incoming disaster, Yasaka snaps from her, though when one of the royal guards announces that Kojiro is arriving in the palace with Kunou and his new little sister.
