"Not at all," Ji Anning stretched her hand and poked Yang Danning vigorously on the shoulder, a futile attempt to conceal her true feelings.
Immediately following, she explained, "I'm just tired, extremely tired."
"Tired indeed," Yang Danning empathized with a nod, "Preparing just for the engagement has already worn me out, let alone you, who are getting married."
While talking, she walked over to Ji Anning's bedside, bent over and sat down; after sitting, she stretched languidly, and upon seeing the soft quilt, she simply lay down in relaxation.
She spoke of tiredness, but her tone and smile were brimming with happiness.
Ji Anning felt a pang of discomfort in her heart, both for Yang Danning and for herself.
She placed her hands on her lower abdomen, her inner turmoil nearly reaching a breaking point.
"Have you decided on your wedding dress yet?" Suddenly, Yang Danning lifted her head and asked Ji Anning.
