Shi Che coldly watched her movements, those that avoided him like the plague, and his expression grew increasingly grim. He suddenly stood up, slammed down the wine glass on the nightstand, and once again stormed out of the room.

Ling Chuxia listened to the slamming door, her body shook violently, and she clenched her hands tightly. In the end, everything returned to silence.

Once Shi Che had left, Ling Chuxia relaxed. She thought she would be able to fall asleep quickly, but to her surprise, just like before, she couldn't sleep at all.
