Jin pursed his lips as he saw Yumi's pitiful expression.
She's like a puppy wagging its tail to his owner!
She looked so cute!
"Hmmm..." Jin gave Yumi a side glance.
Yumi widened her eyes as she waited for Jin's answer.
"Give me some time to think about it,"
Yumi's expression instantly changed when she heard Jin's response!
Her pitiful expression instantly turned into a poker face.
"I have an important thing to do, so, I'll head first," Jin said and then he left.
Yumi's sharp gaze followed Jin. She gritted her teeth as she tightened her grip while watching him walking away.
"Sister Yumi," Yumi snapped back to her senses when she heard Yuhan's voice from behind her.
"What?!" She replied sternly.
"I saw you," Yuhan said.
"What?" Yumi asked confusedly as she turned her head to Yuhan.
Yuhan pointed out Yumi's gripped hand with his pouted mouth.
Yumi looked down on her fist.
"So?!" She asked annoyedly.
Yuhan looked at Yumi with his innocent eyes before he turned his gaze to Jin and then he looked at her again meaningfully. He seems like he is giving her a warning that he can report her to Jin!
"Omo!" Yumi blurted out in disbelief!
"This little rat! Are you trying to threaten me?" She asked sternly.
"No," Yuhan replied.
This doesn't get scared of her easily since she had a makeover. Maybe because she doesn't look stern anymore.
"If sister Yumi agrees to be friends with me," Yuhan added.
"Tsss!" Yumi scoffed!
"Ha! Look at you! You're still a kid but yet you already know how to take advantage of the situation!" Yumi commented.
"Are you trying to make a deal with me?!"
"Do you think I am a kid who will get scared of your little threats?!"
She couldn't believe this kid!
"I am friends with brother Jin," The kid said proudly.
"So?!" Yumi raised her brows.
"Little rat can help you," Yuhan said.
Yumi froze... Is this kid listening to them secretly?
Yumi stared at Yuhan,
This kid is a friend of Jin, perhaps, he can really help her!
"Can you really help me?" Yumi repeated.
"Ennn..." Yuhan nodded a few times.
"Alright, I will be nice to you, but I want you to do something for me,"

At night,
Jin is reading his favorite book when he heard a knock on the door.
The door slowly opened, Jin thought it was his mother but he was wrong!
It was Yuhan instead!
"Yuhan!" Jin was a bit surprised!
"What are you doing here?" He asked, but the child did not reply.
Jin notices the child's loneliness.
"Why?" Jin got up from his seat, he approached the child and carried him before they sat on the bed.
"What happened?"
"Did someone bullied you again?" He asked one after the other.
"I'm lonely because sister Yumi is leaving," The child said.
Jin's brows automatically knitted, "Leaving?" he repeated.
"Why?"
"She said, she might leave the country if she continued to fail in her class," Yuhan replied with his crying expression.
"I don't want her to leave, brother Jin," The child said.
"Sister Yumi will live pitifully if she leaves the country. Father will not give her money anymore," The child continued.
Jin just listen to Yuhan.
He doesn't know why, but he felt odd.
Yumi and Yuhan were not that close tho!
Why would he worry if Yumi will have to leave?
Meanwhile outside the room,
Yumi plugged her ear on the door, trying to listen to the conversation of the two boys inside the room but she could barely hear what they are talking about!
'Aish! I just hope that child can act very well!' She said inside.
Yumi continued to listen, she's planning to leave after a while before anyone sees her!
However, before she could even leave, someone already saw her!
She didn't notice that someone is watching her from behind!
Adelfa had just done with her work, she's heading to their room when she saw a girl on their bedroom door!
The girl is in a sneaking position, her ear is plugged into the door as if she is trying to listen to whatever is inside!
Adelfa knitted her brows. Her knitted brows got even deeper when she realized it was the Young Miss!
"Young Miss?!" Adelfa blurted out as soon as she recognizes the Young, Miss!
Yumi was startled when someone suddenly spoke from behind her!
'Omo!'
'Somebody saw me!' She panicked inside!
"Young Miss, is there something---"
Yumi hurriedly turned to Adelfa, and she gestured her to shush but it was too late!
Jin has already heard them!
Jin got up from the bed when he heard the noise outside the room.
He put down Yuhan before he opened the door and there!
He saw Yumi outside the room with her pointer finger above her nose as if trying to tell someone to keep quiet!
"..."
Yumi was speechless!
It was too late!
Jin has already seen her!
"Sister Yumi!" Yuhan excitedly runs to her.
" I already did what you said!" The child said proudly with a smile on his face.
Yumi's mouth went slightly opened!
She was not able to stop Yuhan from talking!
Yumi just blinks her eyes as she looked at Jin's poker face!
Oh no!
She is caught red-handed!
"Really, Young Miss?" Jin commented with disappointment, " Using a child to make me agree to you?"
"Uhm..."
Yumi blinks her eyes a few times.
'What now Yumi?'
'What lie are you going to tell him now, huh?'
Yumi was metal blocked!
She can't think of an alibi!
Adelfa doesn't know what is going on between Jin and the Young Miss, but whatever it is, she knows that she is not in the place to interfere.
"Young Master, would you like me to bring you to your room to rest?" She asked Yuhan.
"No, I want sister Yumi to bring me to my room because we are friends now!" the innocent Yuhan said.
Yumi bit her lip!
She regretted involving this little rat to her problem, but it's also a blessing in disguise!
At least, she now has an alibi to leave!
"Come on, let's go!" Yumi said to Yuhan.
Jin looked down at Yuhan, " Hey, you're already a big boy, right?"
"You can go without sister Yumi because your sister and I have to talk about something," he said.
"Alright!" Yuhan replied.
"..."
Yumi is speechless again!
How can this guy make Yuhan agree to him so easily?!
Adelfa and Yuhan left, and now there is only Yumi and Jin outside the servant's bedroom.
Jin put his arms across his chest, " Is there something you want to say, Young Miss?" He asked.
Yumi just lowered her head. "I admit, I told Yuhan to say those things to you," she said.
"So, it was all a lie?" Jin asked.
"No!" Yumi instantly replied.
"Everything he said was true,"
"I might be sent abroad and live in poverty if I continue to fail in class,"
Jin kept silent.
"I can't let my father succeed in his plan on casting me away, I have to defend my position as an heiress of this family," Yumi continued.
"Passing the third and fourth quarter is my way of defending my title. And I need your help to pass."
Jin took a deep breath, " You are the only one who can help your self, Young Miss." He said,
"You can't depend on other people," He added.
"I know, but I need a backup, and it is you," She replied.
"Why me?"
"I mean, your family is rich, I am certain that you can afford to hire a professional tutor," Jin said.
"I want someone whom I am comfortable with," Yumi replied.
"You're comfortable with?" Jin repeated and then he let out a short laugh, "Aren't you always mad at me?" He said.
"Yes---, I mean, No!"
"Ugh! Alright, yes, I was mad at you, but not anymore!"
"Oh!" Jin blurted out.
" Is it because you need something from me, that's why you're not mad at me anymore?" He asked.
"You're such a straight forward person," Yumi commented.
"So, I was right," Jin said.
"Yes!" Yumi replied.
"Ouch!" Jin touched his chest as if he was hurt by Yumi's reply. " You're so honest!" He added with a smile on his face.
"Because I know I can't fool you, there's no use of telling you a lie," Yumi said.
"So, will you agree now?" Yumi asked after a while.
" I am a strict tutor, can you endure it?"
"Sure!" Yumi replied.
"Then, it's a yes!" Jin replied!
"Really?!" Yumi's eyes lit up!
Jin nodded his head.
He has the reason why he agreed to be her tutor, he doesn't want her to leave the country!
