Goodbye 4 (The end of Yumi and Jin's teenage life)
"They are leaving this morning, " Japhet repeated.
Yumi was stunned!
"W-What?!" She blurted out!
'No!' Yumi said inside.
' He can't leave without talking to me!'
"Turn back the car!" Yumi ordered Japhet.
"Huh?!" Japhet blurted out.
"I said turn back the car!" Yumi repeated.
Japhet followed Yumi's order. He quickly turns the car and headed back to the mansion.
Yumi hurriedly gets off the car as soon as Japhet parked in the garage. She almost jumped out in a hurry.
She did not waste time, she hurriedly went to the servant's quarter to see Jin!
The servants who were chatting inside were startled when the door suddenly opened!
They were not able to at a word when they saw the panting Yumi entered!
"Where is Jin?" Yumi asked the people inside the servant's quarter.
The servants just looked at each other.
Yumi did not wait for the servants to respond to her question. She hurriedly headed to Jin's room and she pushes the door open, hoping to see Jin inside but she failed!
All she saw is the empty room!
Yumi's shoulder dropped!
She stared at the empty room.
'So, he really left without saying goodbye!' She mumbled in resentment.
'That dummy!'
'He really doesn't care about me!'
'He did not even make an effort to approach me and try to talk to me before he left!'
Yumi did not notice that her tears have started falling down to her face.
'Alright!'
'He left just like that, then I will forget everything about him!'
'He is just a passerby who left no trace in her life!
'I will forget him and all his traces in my heart!'

Jin's gaze is outside the bus window while beside him is his mother.
Jin is in deep thoughts.
'Not because I didn't say goodbye, it doesn't mean that I did not care for you, or you are not important to me.'
'You're important to me Yumi, the reason why I did not say goodbye is because I don't want to think that this will be the last time that I will be able to see you because I am hoping that someday, our paths will cross again!

Jin and Adelfa make a ride on a boat after twelve hours of travel through the bus.
"This boat will take us to your grandparents, " Adelfa said when she saw the questioning look on Jin's eyes.
Jin just nodded his head and he did not say a word.
Jin couldn't see the surroundings because it was already dark or maybe, he is just thinking about one thing.
There is only one thing in his mind. He is already far from Yumi. He could no longer see her in the morning like he is in the mansion. He could no longer see her frowned face and her smile.
After about an hour of riding on the boat, Jin can finally see a dim light from afar.
"We're here, son," Adelfa mumbled with her gaze ahead of her.
"Welcome to El Vida Island, " Adelfa added.

The old couple Olivia and Adolfo are getting ready to rest.
The night is peaceful, the surrounding is dark. Of all the houses on the island, only their's has a light on. All they are using is the electricity from the solar power system that they installed outside their house because there is no electricity in the island yet.
The old couple was about to go to their room when they heard a knock on the door.
The old couple looked at each, "Did you hear that?" Adolfo asked his wife.
"Yeah, " Olivia nodded her head.
"Who would come and knock on our door at this hour?" Adolfo mumbled.
The people on the island usually rest early because there is nothing to do on the island during the night.
Though Adolfo is having a doubt, he still decided to go and check outisde through the peephole, but it only made him stunned!
"Who is it?" Olivia couldn't help but ask when she saw her husband's stunned expression as if he had seen an unusual thing!
Adolfo slowly turned his head to his wife, still in his stunned expression.
Olivia was curious to see her husband's expression.
"Move, " She said to him, and then she peeks on the peephole.
*Gasped!*
Olivia gasped as soon as she saw the person outside their door!
She can see her clearly with the help of the light outside the house!
It's been so long, but yet, she can still recognize her daughter!
Olivia hurriedly lifted her shaky hand and turn the door open!
And there!

Adelfa stared at the woman who had just opened the door and she couldn't help but cry!
She's not lonely but she just felt like crying!
Maybe it was tears of joy!
Joy to see her mother again after a long time!
The woman standing in front of her may have aged since the last time she saw her, but she is still as beautiful as always!
"M-Mom..." Adelfa blurted out.
Olivia's tears automatically fell on her face as soon as she heard Adelfa spoke because it made her realized that she is not just dreaming!
"Adelfa! My dear daughter!" Olivia embraces her long lost daughter!
"Oh! I thought I was just dreaming! I have been waiting for this moment to come!" She said as she embraced her daughter tightly.
" I'm sorry, Mom," Adelfa said.
She wanted to say those words for a long time.
"Ssshhh..." Olivia hushed Adelfa, "It's alright... It's alright..." she said.
This time, Adelfa lifted her gaze and she saw her father silently watching her and her mother.
"D-Dad..." Adelfa mumbled.
"I'm glad you came home, " Adolfo said with tears in his eyes.

Jin and Adelfa sat side by side in the living room while opposite them is the old couple.
"Oh, so, this is our grandson!" Olivia said without taking away her gaze on Jin.
"Yes, grandma, grandpa," Jin replied.
"Ah, he is just as good looking as me!" Adolfo exclaimed which made Jin smiled.
"Anyways, where is Jinnard?"
"Why he's not with you?" Olivia asked.
The smile on Jin and Adelfa's faces fade!
"Why?"
"Did that jerk left you?" Adolfo seems to understand their silence.
"I'm sorry if I did not listen to the both of you, " Adelfa spoke.
"Jinnard left me and my son for another woman three years ago and we don't have news about him anymore," Adelfa said.
Adolf clutched his fist.
"That bastard!"
"If he left you three years ago, why you only come home now?" Olivia asked.
"I was too ashamed to come back..."
"I was afraid that you have already disowned me as your daughter, " Adelfa replied.
Olivia held her daughter's hand, "No, " she said.
"I will never disown you, you're my daughter, I will still accept you no matter how many times you make mistakes, " Olivia said.
Adelfa cried again, "Thank you, mom, dad," She said.
"But even if he left me, I still consider my self lucky, " Adelfa spoke again.
"Because I have a good son." Adelfa proudly said.
"Jin is a smart kid. He is a consistent honor student since primary school."
"Oh, really?!" Adolfo couldn't hide his excitement!
"He got his intelligence from me!" He added.
Adelfa and Jin laughed, " I agree to that, dad, " Adelfa agreed.
"He also likes growing plants just like you, " She added.
"I knew it!"
"This boy has taken after me!"
"Anyway, how about the family's business?" Adelfa changed the topic.
Her father likes growing plants it was his hubby and it is also his way of making money. He established his flower and plant nursery business.
Olivia and Adolfo's expression changed as they looked at each other.
"W-Why?" Adelfa asked her parents.
"Ah, I am sorry to tell this but..." Adolfo took a deep breath before he spoke again.
"Our flower and plant nursery business is not doing good for the past few years. Maybe because I am too old already that I can not fulfill my duty anymore."
"Oh, " Adelfa blurted out.
"Don't worry, dad. Now that I and Jin are here, we will work on it together and make your business become popular again!"
Adolfo seems to have hope when he heard what his daughter said!
It would be possible to make his business popular again if they will work together, he knows they can do it!

The next morning, Jin has woken up early, he hadn't had a good sleep. Maybe because he is not used to this place yet or maybe because he keeps on thinking about Yumi.
Jin gets up from his bed, he pulled out the curtains of the window which revealed the breathtaking beautiful sunrise!
"Woah!" Jin blurted out in amusement!
The fogs slowly faded as the sun started to rise.
The reddish sunlight complimented the green forest and the green grass in the rock formations.
It was already dark when they arrived last night, so he didn't see the Island's beauty!
It's only now he saw the crystal clear water and the white sand on the beach!
"This is like a paradise, " Jin mumbled.
'This island deserves to be introduced to the world! 'Jin said inside.
