Jin Sebastian is the son of Adelfa, the servant of Yumi Alcantara and her family. They struggled and live poorly since his father left them for another woman.

 On Yumi's side, her mother committed suicide a few years ago, she blamed her father for her mother's death because she thought that her father had an affair with another woman, (Alicia who is her stepmother now.) She thought it was the reason why her mother ended her life.

"Will you be my girlfriend, officially?" Jin asked.


"Hmmm..." Yumi looked up as if she is trying to think for an answer to Jin's question.


"If I accept your proposal to be your girlfriend, how will we work it out?" Yumi asked as she averted her gaze to Jin.


"I mean..." Yumi paused as she looked down on the ground.


"My life is here in Capital City while yours is in El Vida City, we are miles away from each other," She said.


" Distance doesn't matter for two people in love," Jin said.


"Can you assure me that you can make time for me?" Yumi asked.


"I can always have time for you even if we are miles away from each other," Jin replied.


"As long as you say that you love me, and you trust me, I will always find a way to come to you," Jin said. " Just trust me," He added.


"Do you promise not to break my heart again?" Yumi asked another question.


Jin stared at Yumi, " People in love are bound to be hurt," He said.
