Factory Grave, a term used by residents of Messer City to describe a region in the southern part of Bronk District, which was once a gathering place for a large number of heavily polluting factories such as steel and coal.
Later, due to a major economic depression, coupled with endless accidents, the factory owners fled en masse, leaving behind empty shells.
Among them, the most serious and final incident was a brave journalist who risked his life to sneak in, exposing that all the factories were secretly discharging wastewater into the Messer River, leading to the accidental deaths of at least thousands of citizens over a decade.
Additionally, the health of the remaining residents was also in grave danger.
That report led to the birth of the "Grave."
It also made Messer City home to the first journalist to win the Federation's highest press award, although not long afterward, the journalist was murdered.
