Chapter 13 Joint Cooperation

Being with Naruto always annoys you. You can see this by the face of Hokage, twitching like crazy. Teammates of Naruto is helpless by the loud noise. After all this talking and talking of Naruto, Tomari decided to speak.

"Hokage-sama, our team have completed the mission and retrieved the objective" Tomari smiled at the Hokage.

"Ohh, is that right? Good job team Tomari!" Hiruzen's old look became young again after Tomari spoke. Tomari is a kind girl he took from the war and saw that she was very talented and quick learner. Having no affiliation whatsoever, he decided to give her home, Konoha.

Tomari was about to reply, Naruto butted in, "Hey, old man! give us some more difficult mission this time! No chasing and no planting mission" Naruto is spitting salive on Hokage's face.

"Okay, then. I'll give a you a chance. You'll recieve a C-rank escort mission. Only, your team will have joint operation with team Tomari." Hokage said.

"There's no need, old man. Our team is more than enough, Dattebayo!" Naruto was happy until he looked at team Tomari.

He was shocked to see them again. 'What is that monster doing here?' Noticing Naruto's reaction, Kakashi, Sasuke and Sakura looked over.

Sensing that people was eyeing him made him wondered what happened. He spoke up, "What? Want to fight me?" He raised his eyebrow and challenged.

"Hmmp, don't be arrogant! So what if you're the first in the academy, you just graduate at same time as us." Sasuke said to Sora with challenging tone.

Sora looked at Sasuke and release his aura, "Oh? How about we find out now?" Sora smiled and faced Sauke.

The pressure was suffocating for the new genins but this alerted the Hokage, team leaders, and the Anbus behind Hokage.

"Stop, the person who gave this mission has arrived." Hokage broke the ice and the Anbu retreated.

"Sora, don't fight". Miyuki smiled. With this, Sora retracted his aura. Kakashi looked at Sora and thought, 'This guy is dangerous. He released a tinge of killing intent and pure aura pressure'.

"We're stronger now compared when we were in academy, ya know?" Naruto said.

Then a old voice interrupted, "Huh, weak brats will escort me? What if they failed and I died?" An old man entered the office.

"Haa?! Who are saying weak?! You're talking to the future Hokage! Dattebayo!". Naruto said.

"Huh? Hokage? You weak brat should stop dreaming". Old man tazuna sneered. The latter also looked at the other genins. He couldn't help but say, "The kids these days are not promising, How can they protect me when bandits came?".

Now Sora couldn't take it anymore ans threatened the old man, "Shut up, Old Man! Bandits will find your dead body after I kill you. What about tha-" Then Miyuki spanked the head of Sora.

"Please, don't mind Sora" Miyuki just smiled.

"Okay, prepare yourselves and meet up on the gates in an hour!" Kakashi commanded. The team disperse and prepared themselves.

Leaving the village, the team made formations. Team Tomari at the rear, Old man Tazuna at the middle, and team Kakashi at the front.

To go to the Land of Waves, they must ride boats to go there. Once they came to land, they travelled again by foot.

They notice puddles of water on the road. Since there's not rain today, Kakashi became suspisious and halted the teams.

Since they were noticed, they had no choice but to show themselves. In the original story, only two chuunin ninjas came out and fought them, but this time a group of six chuunins came out the bush.

Tomari saw this as an oppurtunity to give the genins some battle experience. She and Kakashi backed off and defended Tazuna.

Having their first battle experience, They were very excited and ignited their battle intent. The team of Tomari erected their battle formations.

"Wind Release: Great breakthrough"

"Fire Release: Great fireball technique"

Miyuki's fire jutsu combined with Yuuichi's wind jutsu made a giant and powerful fire ball. After temporary immobilization, the enemy was cleaned up by Sora using Leaf dragon god.

"Leaf dragon god: Miniature dragon"

A small dragon formed at Sora's foot and attacked the enemy with power. There, the team Tomari has defeated three enemies leaving the other three to team Kakashi.

Compared to the Team Tomari, a group of three genins with no much coordination, battling against three chuunins was like adult playing with children. Because of this, Kakashi helped them while the trio retreated to defend Tazuna.

Miyuki was seeing what happened in the anime, two enemy chuunin was defeated by Sasuke and calling Naruto 'Scaredy-Cat'. the last one was defeated by Kakashi.

Kakashi turned to Old man Tazuna. Having ambushed by several enemy chuunin, he's got a lot of explaining to do. "Tazuna, fighting an enemy chuunin raises the difficulty of the mission, care to explain why is that?"

Tazuna sighed and explained, "Because of Gato. Gato is the shipping magnate of the Land of Waves, a pretty bigshot man. He has big monopoly of ships to the mainland. I want to build bridge so that our village will survive, but doing so will cripple Gato's shipping business. He's sending assassins to destroy the bridge."

"You know we can decide not to continue this mission, right?" Kakashi said.

"Yes, I know. And I'm going to die while my village suffers along with my daughter and grandson". Tazuna gave a pity looked.

Naruto pitied the old man and said, "Don't worry, old man. We will continue the mission". He smiled.

This made the rest of the team sighed except Miyuki, 'Whaaa, I can't believe its the real life!'

Before they continued tge journey, Kakashi sent a clone to inform the Hokage of raising the difficulty of the mission to B-rank.
