He was shocked beyond belief. No one had ever rejected his money, especially not women. And to tear it up, and throw it back into his face was a whole new level. But this shock slowly turned into an insatiable curiosity that needed to be sated.
Seth turned and picked up his phone, which had been placed beside his clothes. He dialed in his assistants number, "Greg, grab a set of my clothes, and head down to hospital x, also bring my personal laptop. You can tell the guards they have the day off. You have 1 hour, Go!".
After the call Greg checked the time, 5:30 am, "I wonder what's got him in a hurry". He wondered to himself as his front door slammed behind him."
1 hour later
"Took yah damn long enough." Seth commented as he changed his clothes. "Notify office security that I will be coming in early today."
Greg found this curious since his boss hadn't physically come to work for the last 6 months, but he was certainly glad something had envigorated him.
"Also forgo all of you work today, I have a job for you".
"What is it sir".
"First set 3 tickets to City K, I need to attend to my parents funeral." Seth said.
"Oh and one more thing, this is top priority, get all the information you can on a woman named Tonya Nance."
"May I ask why sir?"
"No, now you have until the end of the day, so I suggest you hop to it".
"Yes sir."
They both entered the car waiting for them at the entrance of the hotel, and left for the office.
" Finally that took forever." Gerg said to himself, as he was finally done collecting the info. "Just in time to", as he realized the work day had just finished.
Running to his boss's office he placed down the envelope. "All here". He stated. Seth only nodded and picked.up the envelope as he began to read through. He turned to Seth and asked,
"Oh by the way, when is the flight scheduled for?"
"Three days time sir."
"Alright then, notify my uncle that I will be there in 4."
"Shall I notify you parents as well sir", said Greg not realizing he had just stepping on a land mine.
"No, that will be all for today", Seth retorted as his face darkened into a foul mood.
Clueless as he ever was, Greg, just nodded and went home, not knowing the purpose of the trip, or that woman.
Seth quickly packed up his things for the day, and went to his personal driver out front. "Take me to this adress", as he handed the driver a peace of paper, as they began towards the outer edge of the city.
