Let me hear those 3 words
No matter how mad Ye Shuxin may seem, the smile in Jin Mingze's lips didn't disappear. In fact, it only made her angrier to the point where she wanted to slap off that smile from his lips.
Her body was aching, especially in her lower region. How could he keep on going when they were inside the car?
"Stop smiling!"
"Okay." He did as she told, the smile disappeared from his lips but then after a few seconds, the side of his lips curled up again.
"Jin Mingze!" She groaned in annoyance. She turned and headed to her room only to be followed by her husband.
"Stop following me!"
"Why?"
"Because I said so!"
She entered the room and was about to close the door on him but was stopped when he held the doorknob and slip himself in between.
It was already late at night so no one was there to disturb them. Definitely not the servants who went back to their rooms.
She glared at him, "What are you doing?"
"Entering my wife's room." He said as if stating a fact as he took a step inside.
"Have you ever been beaten up by a woman?" She was looking blankly at him as she crossed her arms.
He smirked in amusement, "No."
"Not even once?"
"Yes, not even once."
She scoffed. She clenched her fists and smiled, "Do you want to know how it feels like?"
"If it's on the bed, I don't mind being attacked... by you."
"..."
This shameless man!
What happened to the aloof Jin Mingze? She wants him back!
"Am I in hell?"
He chuckled, "No. If you were in hell, you'll be on a throne and the devil would be packing."
She frowned, "You're the devil!"
"Then I'll have you with me on the throne."
She groaned in frustration, "Jin Mingze! Get out of my room!"
"But I want to sleep here tonight." He calmly said.
"It's stated in the contract that we are not to share the same room so get out! I want you gone by the time I finish my bath!"
She stomped her way to the bathroom. She didn't forget to lock the door. Yes, she should lock the door.
He smiled helplessly as he looked at the bathroom door. He sighed before he left her room.

After taking a shower, Ye Shuxin went out of the bathroom, wearing a bathrobe, covering the marks that Jin Mingze made on her body.
She was glad to see him gone. She was really tired and she just wanted to rest for the night.
After drying her hair, she changed into her pajamas. She got on the bed and lied down.
She was about to sleep when she suddenly heard footsteps.
She turned her head only to see Jin Mingze, in his pajamas, walking in her room.
"Why are you here?!" She sat up and grabbed a pillow as if it was her killing weapon against him. "The contract! Don't forget the contract!"
"The penalty for me when I break one of the conditions is 500,000 yuan, right?" He took out a black card. "Will this do?"
Ye Shuxin was looking dumb when she saw the card.
It was... The king of all cards!
She licked her lower lip and gulped, "A-are you... going to give me that card?"
"Yes." He said without hesitation. "In return, the contract between us will be void."
"Huh?"
What does he mean by that?
He sat at the side of her bed, "Do you want this?"
The sight of the card almost made Ye Shuxin drool. Who wouldn't accept something like that? Only a fool would and she was not a fool!
Before she could snatch it away from him, he pulled it back.
She turned her head to him, looking as if she was betrayed. "Y-you said that you're going to give that to me!"
It was amusing how her expressions kept on changing in only a matter of seconds.
"Did I?"
"You did!"
She pursed her lips as she looked at him. She was mad at him a few minutes ago but now, how can she be mad when he was holding a trophy card?
She let go of the pillow she was holding before she moved to his side.
"You know... we should stop fighting."
He raised a brow. Were they even fighting?
"We should not argue. It's going to hurt the baby." She hugged his arm.
He blinked a few times, "What baby?"
"Me! I'm the baby!"
"..."
She reached out and tried to snatch the card again only to be pulled away by him. Again.
"Jin Mingze!"
He chuckled lightly. He enjoyed teasing her, it was just like back then. Her reaction towards his teases was the same.
"Let me hear those 3 words." He said as he held her chin and pulled her face close to his.
Three words? What three words?
She gave it a thought before she averted her gaze from him as her face heat up, "I... I love you."
His eyes softened. He felt a tingling sensation growing in his chest. He knew that she didn't mean it but the effect was still there. He smiled and pecked her lips, "That's sweet, but try again."
"..."
"Well?"
"I will behave."
He let go of her chin and patted her head instead. "Good girl." With that, he finally gave her the card.
