After having decided my course of action, now to actually go forward with it. I can learn how to cook in the wild with my ki, and catching fish with my supernatural reflexes will be absolutely no problem. Anacondas will be a good feast. Ehehehehehe! Okay enough being stupid, I already mentally prepared myself for this trip. I am thinking maybe a year or two in the Amazon Forest, and then I return home. Who knows what kind of crazy stuff I will get into while I am out there? Anyway, rock and roll time.
Hugging my parents one last time, I walk outside wearing nothing but my DBZ pants and somehow they just feel fitting for my new life as a creature from that Universe in my own Universe. Rapidly lifting off from the ground, I don't even look back to my parents, before I make a beeline for the sky, and eventually turn around once I am high enough and fly directly to the land of danger and opportunity, The Amazon Forest.
Before long, I am flying above the oh so familiar scenery that I have seen in many documentaries, and now look fondly upon my new home of the next 2 years or so. Finding a high tree to land in, I decide that I will spend the night here and begin exploration in the morning. Yawning lightly, I did a full body stretch before relaxing in the canopy of the very top of the tree and wrapped myself in leaves and branches to hold me in place. Let's go to sleep now...
The first thing that I noticed upon awakening at the butt crack of dawn, was the thick and potent smell of blood, and fear. Human fear. There is a human below my tree right now, and they are bleeding quite a bit, oh and it just had to be a sexy Lara Croft looking babe didn't it? Okay, I can't ignore them even if they looked like a pig. Anyway, let's go down and give them a hand. That anaconda looks tasty anyway, and it's about time for breakfast. Dropping out of the tree with a light hop onto the ground, I looked over to the woman who was being slowly crushed by an anaconda that found her resting under the tree and said, "Yo! You need help there?". Yeah I totally said that in the most friendly and relaxed way ever. The woman's eyes fluttered open unsteadily and she barely squeezed out the word, "Run", before fainting again. Okay, I can't ignore this. Even though she was at death's door, she still had the integrity to warn me to run and forsake her. I of course will do no such thing, after all it's anaconda meat! Oh yeah, and there's the rescuing the damsel in distress part too I suppose. Weird.. Why do I feel so detached from humanity? All I want is a good fight with this anaconda and to make it my breakfast, and this sexy lady becomes second? Why is that I wonder? Never mind, philosophical questions can wait until after I kick this anaconda's ass! Let the fight begin!
Breathing out slowly, I got into a fighting stance of my own creation, as I have yet to learn martial arts, and darted forward towards the anaconda and gave it a good whack across the head, causing it to release the beauty. Grabbing her and swiftly setting her aside behind me, the anaconda let out a low rumbling hiss before it began to launch it's head towards me with it's jaws agape. Right when it was about to get close to me, I had already grabbed a long stick and sharpened it into a spear. Then when it's head was close to biting me, I lodged the spear in it's open mouth from bottom jaw to top and caused it to impale it's own brain with it's own jaws power. Sighing at how easily I defeated such an apex predator, I lost any sense of hope of having a good fight in this forest. Now that the fight is over, let's check on the unconscious woman. Noticing that she had many lacerations, and excessive blood loss, my eyes dilated as I said, "Not good, she's lost too much blood. I need to close off the wounds and get her to a water source immediately. She desperately needs to re-hydrate." Nodding to myself, I hurriedly used some tree leaves and bee honey to close off her wounds and hurried into the air to locate a water source. Finding one almost immediately, I got down to the ground and laid the young lady at my side and scooped some water into my hands. Using ki to purify the water, I then tapped the young woman's face and waited for her to wake up. When her eyelids flickered open, I then told her to drink the water. Gasping at me in surprise she tried to move before crying out in pain. Shaking my head in disappointment, I gently lifted her head up with my leg and held my cupped hands in front of her face. She then looked at me hopefully before beginning to gulp down the water. Once she finished I repeated the process many times, until she was able to sit up on her own.
Now that she is awake and seems to be functioning quite normally considering the massive blood loss, I guess it's question time, then finally breakfast! Looking at the brunette who was decked out exactly like Lara Croft, I was surprised. Noticing my stare at her get up, she smiled pitifully and said, "They're just props. I'm an actress for the new Tomb Raider movie that's coming out next year. My role, as you can guess is of Lara Croft. Unfortunately when I went to answer nature's call last night, I got lost and found myself attacked first by a black panther, then chased down by this anaconda who killed it all night long. Just when I thought I'd escaped and fainted from relief, you know the rest of the story. My name is Sarah Crown by the way." I nodded and simply said, "Devin.". Smiling warmly at me she suddenly came to a realization.
"Wait come to think of it, what's an American like you doing in the middle of the Amazon Forest?! This is a very scary and dangerous place. I'm seriously regretting coming here for the film. Anyway, if it's not too much trouble to ask, do you think you can help me find my camp?" Looking at the beauty pensively, I held my chin for a good few seconds before nodding my head to her. I said to her simply, "Hold on and don't be scared." Carrying Sarah in my arms in a princess carry, I swiftly took off into the air to her ear piercing screams. Yelling and crying, she remembered my words and a huge blush formed. She was ashamed that she'd not taken me seriously clearly. Now looking down at the Earth with sparkling eyes, she asked me, "Are you a God?", to which I replied, "Not yet. Too soon.". Clearly confused by my meaning, nonetheless she regarded me as some deity of the forest and quieted down.
After five minutes of searching using my ki sense ability, I finally located a group of humans. Flying to the edge of their area, I lowered us to the ground and slowly walked with her out of the tree line. Running forward with impossible energy, Sarah called out, "Everyone! I am okay! Someone found me in the forest and saved my life! Get over here guys!" Shock and disbelief filled the surroundings as many people in the hundreds of all things came rushing over to Sarah. Seeing her people approach, I swiftly left the area. I'd done my good deed for the day, now to commence my training.
And so the days passed. I meditated under waterfalls, caught fish with my eyes closed, and fought an anaconda blindfolded with one arm and one leg. My ways of improving myself grew more creative with each passing day. I'd even managed to tame a cloud with my ki and made my own flying nimbus. It was on a day just like any other that I sighed and said, "2 years already? Where has the time gone? I wrestled panthers, and beat down anacondas, I practiced stealth techniques of many animals for hunting purposes, and learned to control my breathing underwater to the point that I can now sleep under water. I seem to have learned everything that this forest can offer me. Now to return home, and prepare for the trip to China. It's hard to believe, but I'm already 31 this year. Wow. I'm intending to spend a minimum of 5 years in China to look for cultivators. Now home here I come!
