A Dream

For months on end

Nightmares fill my head

Zombies and beasts so vivid to me

But last night I finally had a dream

There was all my family there

Lots of love and space to share

A deep understanding

Of time and boundaries

A friends or two

One for me and one for you

A love like no other

A hate easily covered

Alas I still woke up

Despite my cries and pleads

Just let me fill my cup

And never forget these dreams

Ever.
