"Shhh, it's okay. I'm here…" He assured her.

She sobbed even harder and clenched onto his shirt tightly.

"I'm sorry…"

"What are you sorry about? There is nothing you should be sorry about." He frowned, holding her in his arms tightly. His heart would not be at ease unless hers was.

Genesis wiped her tears away and then went back to hugging him again. "I'm sorry for making you wake up at this time." She apologized, noticing the clock on the nightstand. It said it was 3am in the morning and she was sorry for disturbing his sleep with her nightmares.

"You dummy. There is no way you would disturb me, but you did make me worry." He sighed in relief noticing she was now breathing calmly.

"I dreamt about that day. About my parents...I really miss them.." She admitted.

"I know. It's only natural for you to do so. But you have to remember that they are now in a better place looking after you. And I'm here by your side, I'll keep you company." He smiled sweetly.
