An incoming war

"Can we talk?" Andrew took his chances and caught her wrist before Genesis could stand up and leave.

"Another time." She took her hand back and glanced at him one last time before leaving again, but this time she left from whatever door was behind him, only to appear next to Aiden.

He was confused, was it some sort of mirror? What's the trick? Why is it so confusing? As much as he tried to make sense of it, it simply did not add up. How could she come from the front, disappear from the back and appear in the room outside his?

Just thinking about it made his headache worse.

He sighed and lowered his head, rubbing it with his knuckles, hoping to ease the pain through his efforts were useless.

When he caught a glimpse of them again, Aiden had his hands on her waist and was kissing her cheek.

He grunted at the sight. But it really annoyed him when Aiden met his eyes and smirked, before walking her out and leaving him to himself in the room.
