"What did you want to talk about?" Genesis asked. 

She had bid everyone goodbye and gotten into Ethan's car, who knows where he was driving her but at least he seemed less tense about what he wanted to say to her.

That changed when she asked her question, she noted.

Now he stiffened and fell into a deep haunting silence. Concerning silence.

Genesis pursed his lips.

"It's late." He said. "I think it's best if I take you home instead."

"Don't. Let's go to the bridge we used to hang in when we were younger." She declined his offer to take her home because she knew she wouldn't be able to fall asleep leaving him like this.

Especially not with that grim expression on his face. 

"Don't worry Aiden took Bae home so that's taken care of, and look you don't even have to tell me anything until you're ready. Let's just hang out like we used to."'
