Chapter 28 : Soft lips. Jub Jub.

Third person point of view

They were all enjoying; speaking, drinking and eating. Leo tugged at Luke's sleeve. One of Luke's friends who was sitting near by noticed the moment and cleared his throat. Luke rolled his eyes at his friend. " Scram ". His friend laughed and turned away, but Leo felt embarrassed. Luke leaned a little towards Leo. " What is it ? " " I need to go to the washroom. Tell me the way ". Leo whispered to Luke. " Do you want to go alone ? Want me to come with you ? " " I am not a kid. Just tell me. It's fine. I will not get lost. I will be back safely ".

Luke told him the directions and Leo left to the washroom. Luke observed as Leo left and then continued speaking to his friends. He glanced around casually but then didn't find Kayla anywhere. A light panic struck him. He scanned the whole room again and Kayla was indeed not there. He turned to Ken asking where she was. Ken checked and said that she might have gone to the washroom. Luke thought for a second and then went out as well. He walked in the direction of the washroom.

Kayla had left the room to take a phone call. She wanted to go behind Leo when she saw him leave the room, but then couldn't because she was still busy with the call. She was near the rooms itself. She didn't notice Luke walking in the same direction, as she turned around still speaking on the phone. Luke went to wait near the washroom and checked around. He didn't find her anywhere. He waited for a few seconds and saw Leo coming out. " What are you doing here ? Did you really think I am a kid who would get lost ? What is-"

Luke was looking around and found Kayla walking in their direction from the corner of his eyes. He didn't even listen to what Leo was saying. He heard only the start but not the latter part. He pushed Leo to the wall and held his face in his hands and moved closer. The words in Leo's throat got stuck at the sudden action. He was looking at Luke with wide eyes. " Kayla is coming this way ". Luke whispered to him.

His breath was hitting Leo's face. Leo could only stare at him not able to speak. From the position they were in, it would look like they were kissing. Leo saw Luke change the direction of his face. Luke had his face tilted to the right, but then he changed it to left. He didn't move back much because it might look like they were not kissing. Kayla could only watch the things happening in front of her eyes in pure shock. She was angry at what was happening. She stood rooted for a few seconds not able to believe her eyes.

Their noses brushed when Luke moved his head. Leo gulped hard at the proximity. He remembered his dream, again. They were standing like this when they kissed. His eyes traveled to Luke's lips. He could feel the softness by looking at them. Now that he had a few drinks his lips were moist too. He lowered his eyes and didn't look up. Luke checked on Kayla and she was there. He didn't know what was wrong with her. He turned to look at Leo whose cheeks were now red. He only smiled a little and with his gaze lowered Luke just found him cuter and wanted to tease him, but now was not the time.

A waiter who had a good looking face was offered drinks. He couldn't reject because of the money he was going to get. So he drank all the shots he was offered. Now as he walked out, his head was spinning. He was walking along the corridor, stumbling and was all over the place. He couldn't even take a step properly let alone walk in a straight line.

Luke was waiting for Kayla to leave. If he moves away while she was still there, he might end up arguing with her and ruin everyone's mood. He didn't notice the waiter who was walking in their direction. He looked back at Leo enjoying the view in front of him. He suddenly felt a strong push on his back which made him fall forward. He fell forward and due to the proximity his lips landed on Leo's. Their eyes went wide all of a sudden. Luke didn't notice that just before he was pushed Kayla turned around. He was so busy looking at Leo, he didn't notice Kayla's departure.

The waiter stumbled and put his hand on Luke thinking it was just wall. He then walked away into the washroom wanting to puke due to all the alcohol in his body. The waiter stumbled when Luke was pushed. He wasn't able to take in any of this anyway. Meanwhile, Luke could only stare back at the eyes which held the same surprise and shock like his own. Leo didn't even know what to do. The shock made him freeze without even moving a muscle. He could see that Luke was just as shocked.

But one thing he couldn't ignore was. He could now feel how soft Luke's lips were. Luke was the first one to come out of the shock and move away. He turned around and scratched his head trying to control himself. Leo put his hand to his chest to feel his heart racing faster than ever. He touched his cheeks which were now warm and need not mention, his ears were already red. He couldn't even say anything. Luke cleared his throat and tried acting normal. " Le-Let's go ".

He started walking with Leo trailing behind him. He opened the door and entered. He sat back again with Leo beside him. Ken gave a questioning look to which Luke shook his head. Ken nodded. " Where were you guys ? " Someone asked and then saw Leo's red face. Luke rolled his eyes. " To the bathroom. He doesn't know the way, does he ? " Everyone hooted while laughing. " PDA is not good mister ". Everyone laughed again. " I told you it is nothing. And what if we do something ? We are already married ". "Ohhhhhhhh~~~~~~ " Luke laughed it off.
