Roamin’ in the forest.

"Look, I didn't mean to scare you and all. I just automatically smile whenever I kill annoying bastards, it's just a bad habit of mine." I need a way to calm her down, because after all, I need someone to make me some water bubbles, otherwise thirst will definitely get to me.

"Ahh. Okay. Okay. Haa." She is trying to stabilize he breath, but I don't have time for that, so I guess I will just get her to make me a few bubbles right now.

"Could you make me 10 drinking water bubbles please? I have to leave soon, so I can't afford do lose more time." I pointed at the sky, to show that I don't have much time left.

I need to leave before it's completely dark, otherwise the guards won't let me leave the city, and I don't want to make a fuss or fight them.

"Right." Tutor finally agreed and started casting the spell.

It was the second spell I saw her casting magic, but it was as unimpressive looking. That's probably because they were both low tier spell, I suppose.

"Thanks for your effort, both of you. Lime, I want you to stay with my tutor until I return.

Also, if I don't return in about a month's time, don't bother looking for me. Seriously." I'm gonna leave them doing whatever they want in the city, because I want to go to the blacksmith alone.

Shady Merchant told me that he doesn't like big groups, plus I'm tired of having another person with me all the time.

~~~
It's been around 5 since I left the city, and I have been walking in the opposite direction of the kobolds. That's where the tree is located, according to the map.
I've also figured something out. The map points out my location every 10 minutes or so, leaving me with no real-time mapping. Oh well, I got it for free, so I won't complain.
Another thing I figured out is an important aspect of the experience sharing mechanics. I got the whole experience bounty for killing both Shady Merchant and the buff shortie, even though they took damage from other people as well.
My theory is that the experience only gets shared if everyone more than a certain amount of damage, and how much the «certain amount» is, I have no clue.
But this theory does make sense so far, so I'm just gonna stick with it, unless it gets proved wrong.
"I'm tired like hell, I should just set up camp for now, and continue tomorrow." And I started doing it. Speaking to myself. I think it's something that some people just do after wandering around a quiet place for a while.
I may just go insane in the month that I'm planning to spend in the forest.
When I was talking about setting up camp, I think I used the wrong word, because what I'm setting up here is more like a hideout.
I just found a tree that has really long branches that go all the way down to the floor, and I piled some leaves under that tree. Then, a piece of leather on top of that, to make my «bed» more comfortable.
It's good enough.
It's been two days, and they have been roughly the same. Just waking towards the marked spot on the map, occasionally taking a break to hunt down an animal or pick some berries.
Also, I found out that killing animals doesn't give any experience, so it's just monsters and people.
It's very easy to make a fire in this world, because there is a type of rock that, when broken, produces a few sparks. The rock is easy to break.
Also, I picked up a lot of leaves and let them dry inside my bag. Since they are very light, I can fit quite a lot of them and not worry about making the mag more heavy than it already is. Most of the weight comes from water bubbles, by the way.
Anyways, I use the sparks from the rocks and some dried leaves to start a fire, and then it's just a matter of finding some more or less dry sticks.
Although this is the first time I'm actually having cooked meat, because I had to wait for the animal's blood to poor out, plus I also had to wait for the leaves to dry.
I gotta say, it's nice to finally have some food other than berries, and I have been saving the bread for when I eat meat, so that I could eat it all together. Don't forget about salt and pepper, those are also important for making a good meal.
Well then, now that I'm full, I'm gonna continue on with my journey.
It's been another 5 days, and I'm starting to run low on water. Aside from that, the scenery of plain trees got really boring, and I'm starting to get irritated with the map.
I've reached the place where the tree is supposed to be located, but because if the 10 minute delay, I can't tell exactly where I am, so I can only move once every 10 minutes, so as to not go beyond the tree.
I don't want to admit it, but it has already happened 3 time, so I just decided to take it easy instead.
What's good, however, is that the weather has been very pleasant for the past week, so I hope it stays this way. If it were to rain, I'd have to take cover under a tree until it's over, because my cloths aren't water resistant, and I would definitely get a cone if I were covered in water. I'd like to avoid using the phrase «I'm wet», for obvious reasons.
"Ah, finally. Jeez, this took way longer than it should have. I've finally found it." The tree with a ditch under it, which is covered by a trapdoor.
It's the blacksmith's hut.
