Love him or hate him, he's still EXP.

Haa, it sure was a boring wait. Luckily, I've learned to control how much I sleep, so I just spent the whole time sleeping on a piece of cerberus' fur in the sky, held up by manipulators. Not gonna lie, that sight must be very weird.

Anyways, now that cooldown is finally over, I created a potion which restores the vocal chords, and fed it to the goat.

"Look, the rules are simple. You give me answers and I let you live. Sounds fair?" At the same time, I raised my fist, to remind him about [devastating punch]. I'm sure, he wouldn't want to get hit with that again.

Also, I don't really like using it, because the shockwave hurts me as well. It deals pretty much no damage to me, but that doesn't prevent it from giving me pain.

"Fair." I heard the head's voice. It was a deep voice, and you could tell right away that it wasn't a human's speech.

Also, I expected more resistance from him, but I'm sure glad that he didn't resist.

"I've got quite a few quiestions, so get ready." And then it started. The two hour long ocnversation

Basically, this goat head is the room's boss, and for some reason, unknown to him, he can speak with humans. The goat head has an ability, the cooldown of which is one year, so, as you may have guessed, it's [blood print].

This ability allows the boss to instantly kill anyone affected by it, but it can only be applied to humans, and their level has to be lower than his own by at least 100.

Another ability the goat-head has is [blood conversion], which allows him to use the blood of any human he killed within 24 hours and convert it into his own.

So, knowing that, he applied [blood print] on every human present once a year, because that's how often the cooldown allowed him to do it, and then he waited until someone from the dump comes, and once he was sure that the person could pose a threat, he used the [blood print] to kill everyone and turn them into a buff that lasts 24 hours woth [blood conversion].

A few things remained unclear, like how he even maaged to hide his gigantic body of his, but he just said "I can disappear and appear whenever I want to, unless I'm in a fight.". That left me with one more question.

"And why did you even appear before me in the first place? You could have just stayed hidden, right?" To which he simply said that he wanted to level up. Honestly, after a long conversation with this guy, I can appreciate how much time and care has been put into planning this, and even his reasons are similar to mine.

"Thanks for all this information. I'll put it to good use for sure." I came up to him with two manipulators, one in each hand, and one flying right above each wrist, so they could mimic my attacks to effectively double the amount of attacks.

It was a great way to fight, and I'm disappointed that it took me this long to find it, but now I can safely say that the fight with the blood golems was worth the time. I've learned quite a lot during the fight, actually.

The first thing I did was cut his vocal chords again, so that I wouldn't have to hear him complain about my lie.

"Poor thinng, did you really think I was gonna let you live? Well, I did consider it at some point, because I do like your personality, but you're just a living bag of experience. It'd be a crime not to take this opportunity." Now's a good chance to explain something.

All things in this world have a healthpool of their own, which means that, no matter how much damage you do to their body, as long as they have health they won't die.

That has a very lagre impact on how fights rule out, because if you were to, say, put a knife in someone's stomach, they'd probably die, however if they have enough health, then they would just have a hole in their stomach like it's no big deal.

So, does that mean that the best option is to just cut any part of the body? No, because that's where the second system comes into play. Depending on part of the body you attack, you will deal more or less damage, so it still remains extremely important to hit vital spots.

If you were to cut a Wild Boar's ctomach up, it would die for sure, because that is a vunerable spot that takes a load of damage.

There's also one more aspect to this. So, as you alredy know, some parts take more damage than others, but there are also parts of the body which take a ridiculous amount of damage, like a heart.

So, the way it works is the following - if you attack a spot that takes more that 4X damage, then there is also a chance to do a critical hit which does double damage, and the chance depends on your {luck}.

I'll give you an example. You attacked a spot of someone's body which has a multiplier of 5X damage, and a critical hit occurs, leading you to deal 10X damage.

All of those numbers seem astronomical, but it's very hard to get perfect hits on vital spots like these, which balances things out.

So, why did I tell you all of this? Well watch this.

~~~
I sliced the Goat-head once with each hand, and that's a total of four hits. That would normally do little damage to him, but because of his position and exposed neck, I was able to slash at his most vitals spots.
"Hahahaha, I bet you wouldn't have thought that your death would come like this." I laughed when the message appeared. Four carefully done cuts is all it took to deal more than 10% of his max HP.
{experience gained + 6,500,000}
{experience gain multiplier due to level difference: X1}
(Experience X2 due to killing special enemy)
{total experience gained + 13,000,000}
[Level Up!]
[Level Up!]
[Level Up!]
...
{total: [Level Up!] X1444}
"Hoh~, so my level was higher than his." I've succsessfully raised my mood once again.
"Hehehehe! Ahh, it never gets old!!" My mind, previously calm, has now gone uncontrollable, and unable to resist the ecstatic feeling for any longer, I let my instincts loose.
