Stage one. 1 out of 3.

The rubble finally fell off of the boss, and his body was revealed.

Remember how I said that the boss was more like a skyscraper than a real creature? Well scrap that, because I was damn wrong. It resembles a mountain. No, I don't mean that it's as big as mountain, althought that wouldn't be that much of an exaggeration either. What I mean is that it's literally shaped like a mountain.

"No wonder it was so big. So, what're our chances?" I observed the boss, to figure out how it can move at all, and, to my surprise, it looks to be another stationary boss.

"This guy is just like you. He can't move, but he does have the ability to appear, although his appearance is more impressive than yours, Blood. Just saying, you should work on appearing like a supervillain cause that would be pretty cool." The light talk contrasted my look and voice, which was, quite frankly, weak.

"Well, you didn't have to point it out! I already know that this guy's more impressive than me. But, is it just me or are we fighting a literal mountain? I don't see a face or anything." Blood also seemed quite confused about this boss.

"No, it's not just you.. I've never seen a moving mountain before." I smiled bitterly, knowing fine well that we're in for a bad experience.

"Oh, so this is the real boss." The mountain shattered on its own, and a body made of roots and dirt, previously hidden insid the mountain could be seen. Its shape somewhat resembled that of a human, but that was the one and only similarity. It was way bigger than any human as well.

"Let's go for the first attack!" I dashed at the root abomination and swung Blood, who currently had a blood blade extended, and we cut the guy in half with one clean slice.

"Wait, what? It was that easy? Hold up, we didn't get any experience, so there's probab--" I felt suspicious about the boss' death from a single swing, and just as I was about to get away from it just in case, the roots grew back together, trapping me and Blood inside the boss.

"You know what to do!" On my command, Blood activated gravisphere and the roots were now being devoured from the inside, so the boss was forced to push us out from its body.

The root figure pushed his hands into the ground, and hundreds of new trees sprung to life. Ents again?

"Whoa." I jumped into the air and at about the same time, the leaves spun aound the ground like a hurricane, and a few leaves managed to catch up with us and leave some deep cuts on my body.

"Those blades are sharp as hell. I've got, what, more than 1700 strength, and that gives me so much armor, yet the leaves left some cuts in me without trouble." And what made things worse is that I was unable to land on the ground now, otherwise I'd be turned into mince meat.

"Don't worry, I've got this. Gravisphere, [reverse polarity]." Blood spat out the words, and a gravisphere appeared in his mouth again, only this time it was pushing us back instead of pulling things towards us.

"Hold on, why didn't you use this earlier? Oh, now's not the time for complaining. Let's go." I angled Blood back like it was a thruster of some sort, and, flying faster than a conventional plane, we ripped thorugh the root monster's ribs.

I grabbed onto one of the countless roots which made up his body, and spun around in a circle. At the same time, Blood turned off gravisphere and I activated [devastating attack].

*crack*

"Nice, we split him up once again. What now, though? He's gonna heal back up, isn't he?" I asked Blood if he has any ideas.

"He uses his blood to heal, so all we need to do is attack him until he runs out of blood, which, by my estimations, will take around two weeks." Blood said like it's nothing.

"Haha, well that's not helpful. Anyways, you're pretty much a vapire with over a hundred teeth, I'm sure you could suck onto him, right?" We'd run out of energy in a few hours, much less so than a week, so normal tactics won't work.

"Uhh, what? I mean, I've never tried it before, but I'll give it a go I guess." While Blood was talking, I teleported to the boss and smashed him with my got head - Blood - a few more times.

I teleported back, and waited for Blood to fully open his mouth. It takes him a few seconds to open it to its widest width, so I had to win us some time by jumping around the air with the manipulators, which were, by the way, unable to hold the weight of both of us for very long.

"Ait, I'm ready." Blood's jaw was open to its widest, and no matter now many times I see it, it still freaks me out a little.

With a TP, we were right back on top of the boss, only this time Blood bit the guy and started sucking out his vital energy.

"You do you, while I'll take care of his attention. Leech." The goat head was left attached to the boss like an actual leech, meanwhile I went on to play my part.

I ran down from his head and onto his arm, while the boss was trying to catch me along the way, and I grabbed his hand. Holding the boss by his hand, I jumped up into the air, ripping out his arm.

Naturally, his roots attempted to grow back again, so I threw his severed hand onto the gound, where it then got sliced into thosands of pieces.

The hand kept trying to grow back but the leaves kept cutting it, which led to a loop.

"Nice. Now you're wasting your blood on repairing an arm that you can't even use because of your own mistake." His legs didn't get affected by the leaves, so I assumed that his hand wouldn't as well. Initially, I ripped out his hand to distract him from Blood, but I accidentaly just did something useful in the process.

"How's it working out for you?" I looked over at blood, who was full of energy, and it made sense why. He is fuelled by blood, and he's drinking tonnes of it right now.

I ran around the boss and puched him a few more times, tearing pieces of him off here and there.

It's been around two hours since the fight started, and that's all we've been doing. Just running in circles, taking small chunks of him down here and there, to force him to regenerate.

"I'm feeling great, but this root monster still has more than 60% blood left. It will take a few more hours to finish him off." Well that's bad news.

I was running low on energy and mana, from using TP and running around him so much. There was no way I could hold up for any longer than thirty minutes..
