I cant believe you've gone and made a vibrator

-- Kakazumi Strawman Creation Manual --

- Materials -- ?????????????

- This beast skin book contains the knowledge required to make a Kakazumi Strawman

- Craftsman - This book is system made, created as a reward for a Kakazumi Elder after a system event.

With the book open before him, 15 was busy squinting his eyes attempting to decipher its contents.

In all honesty, even Heins was having a little trouble understanding what was written in the book.

Their troubles deciphering the contents of the book were not due to its legibility, nor the complexity of its contents.

Being created by the system it was printed in a language that all creatures could understand. The letters were clean and precise, and the diagrams included within the pages were just as cleanly made. There were no stains nor damage to most of the pages.

The only exception being a little pink dye that got splashed onto the corner of the 23 page, although that had not done any damage whatsoever and could be easily removed with a wet cloth.

Being created by the system the book itself was perfect in every major category, even the material it was made of was very resistant to damage.

But also because it was created by the system it was hard for Heins and 15 to decipher its contents. This was mainly because of one large reason. 15 and Heins were not Kakazumi.

The system had made the book for a Kakazumi, so of course, the intended reader was a Kakazumi. The grammar was weird in some places, and the diagrams were almost incomprehensible for anything other than a Kakazumi.

Of course, this hadn't stopped 15 and Heins from trying.

In fact, they were currently having a competition trying to see who would be able to create a strawman first. Heins trying to use his large amounts of experience regarding blood spells, and 15 making use of his " unique " perspective on life and comprehension abilities. And of course, both 15 and Heins had both failed miserably.

Heins had gotten quite close to making a Strawman move.... but ended up with a bundle of straw that continued to vibrate at high intensity. Interestingly enough, it let out a high pitch scream every time it was touched.

-- Strawman Failure --

Name: Experiment No 2.

Age: 2 hours

Race: ????????

Unranked Lvl 3

Status :

Lifespan: 100 years

Abilities

Vibrate - The only thing this strawman can do is vibrate in place....

Scream - This Strawman has the ability to, and will, let out a high pitched noise when touched...

Comments - A disgrace to any strawman, this limbless monstrosity will invoke pity to all who see it.

It can be considered a complete waste of materials as a certain someone had stuffed this strawman with 30 souls in an attempt to give it intelligence.

" ....."

"....."

" We never speak of my creation again "

" Agreed "

Overall that was the best result that Heins had created after a good day of experimentation. In all honestly, although Heins had completely failed at creating a working Strawman it could be argued that he had done a better job than 15.

Every single time 15 had attempted to create a Strawman within 15 minutes it had exploded in a bright flash of light.

In all honesty, an exploding Strawman could be quite useful, although with 15's production speed, and the fact that the Strawmen had all exploded randomly there was no way for 15 to make good use of the Strawmen.

Exasperated both 15 and Heins had both earned themselves a major headache after several hours of trying to decipher the strange diagrams and wording. 15 had long ago given up on making any working Strawmen after the 5th one he had made blew up in his face.

" Heins..... what are we going to do? We've tried everything and we still couldn't make one of those Strawmen..... all I've done is blow up a good 15 trees, and you've ended up with a vibrator... "

" I thought we agreed to forget that .... thing.... "

It was quite visible that Heins was just as upset as 15 with the result. The river of blood had become quite choppy as waves had long ago begun to form on its surface. They had both wasted a good day trying to mess around with the damn strawmen creation manual.

It wasn't until Heins had remembered that they had not yet sacrificed their daily total of flies that he had a stroke of inspiration.

" 15 ! 15 ! I've got it..... Muahahahahahahaha, I know how we can crack this damn manual, "

15 had looked as if he was struck by lighting. Jumping off up the ground and looking straight at the floating skull that Heins had gotten quite attached to.

" Heins! What is it? It better be good? "

The skull bobbled up and down its teeth chattering excitedly. 15 had long ago found it hard to talk to a river, so Heins had just added a skull to his list of possessed objects and used it mainly to communicate with 15. 15 had found it quite funny at first when Heins deep booming voice had come out such a funny looking bobbling skull.

" So, the main reason we can't understand this damn book is that it was written by the system, right ?"

15 thought for a moment before nodding eagerly,

" Mhmm "

The skull chattered back,

" Sooooo, we just need to get the system to rewrite it, "

Although the idea sounded great to 15, he had no idea how they would manage to convince the system to do that,

" Okay sounds good, but how? "

" We can just use the blood medallion to start up a new sacrifice with the blood domain, and then we can begin a transaction with the system, "

Although 15 had once used the blood medallion to summon Heins he was completely oblivious to its other uses. In all honesty, once Heins was summoned he was supposed to explain sacrifices and then disappear, only reappearing when 15 was ready to sacrifice another batch of souls. Instead, he had stuck around at his own choice helping 15 out by controlling the blood river and keeping him company.

Although Heins did need to consume souls to stick around, 15 had plenty of those. And if 15 ever did use up most of them in a blood sacrifice the corrupted jungle provided a steady income of souls to Heins.

And so once again after a little explanation from Heins, 15 yet again stood facing another mountain of flies, holding the blood medallion out. Although Heins had a good 60 thousand souls stored up the ten thousand corpses were needed to initiate the trade. Interestingly enough, after processing so many souls over the last few days the blood medallion had seemed to evolve a bit. Its description had changed.

-- Blood Medallion ---

-Level -50

- Material - ????????????

Abilities-

-After sacrificing enough corpses allows the owner to bargain with the blood gods domain ( minimum sacrifice must be 10000 individual corpses )

-Certain sacrifices may lead to rewards from the blood domain.....

-Allows for the sacrifice of Corpses and blood... These sacrifices may be rewarded...

Desc - After being blessed by the ???????? Heins and receiving over 50 thousand souls this blood medallion has been empowered, allowing for direct trade with the blood domain.

And just like it had before, the blood medallion gave 15 a polite little notification.

-- You have prompted a sacrifice to the blood medallion of 10,000 unranked creatures,

Continue?

- Yes -

- No -

And again, even knowing what was about to happen 15 couldn't help but get excited. Last time he had used the Blood Medallion the special effects were quite good. And again just like the first time 15 decisively pressed the yes button.

And again the 10,000 tiny corpses had liquefied into what 15 had assumed to be blood after further observation. Each corpse letting out a little red beam of light.

This time however the little red beams of light came together in front of 15 and had formed a panel of red light. It had several different options to chose from, and the total amount of souls that 15 and Heins had stashed together was displayed in the upper right corner.

A good 73,532 souls to be exact. A combination of daily sacrifices, a small village, and a large number of souls that Heins had absorbed from the corrupted jungle.

And just like Heins had instructed him to do so before 15 brought out the Kakazumi Strawman book and pressed on a new option that had popped up.

-- Modify item --

-- Using blood magic and souls modify an item in the user's possession

After a little bit of messing around with the interface and some help from Heins 15 had managed to select the Kakazumi Strawman Manual.

-- Would you like to modify the Kakazumi Strawman Creation Manual ?? --

- Yes -

- No -

At this point, although 15 had appreciated the systems politeness he was starting to get tired of the constant " Yes or No " prompts after he had already selected what he would like to do.

15 sighed. Earlier he had found the system to be polite, but after interacting with it a few times it had turned to be a little annoying.

Not expecting much 15 pressed the - Yes - Button, only to get blown away in shock...
