My Sister Loved It

He sucked in a slight breath, listening to his footsteps. Closer and closer, he reached his final destination. His footsteps were dreadfully slow as he heard Selina's laughter just a door gap away.

Closing his eyes, he took a deep, long breath and curved a smile on his face. He knocked twice before entering the room. Once he made the first step into the room, his eyes wandered to the bed where Selina sat comfortably in.

Bryan quickly walked over, "Ah! Michael is here! Everyone, this is Michael! He just came back from a short trip." As he strode over, he handed the bottled juice to him.

Michael turned his head left and right with a smile. "Hello, my name is Michael." He waved his hand at every stranger in the room. As they went around in a circle, they gave themselves a self-introduction.

When it was up to Selina's turn, she looked up and showed her brightest smile. Waving, she said, "Hello! Nice to meet you. My name is Selina."

Michael's hands gripped on the juice cap as he heard her soft voice introducing herself. Smiling back, he nodded. "Nice to meet you, Selina."

"Ah. Do you also like that juice? Hehe, not many guys like drinking it because it is too sweet for them." She gave the guys a side glance as she said this. It was quite obvious from their expression last time that she was the only one who enjoyed it thoroughly.

Shaking his head lightly, Michael replied. "No, I'm not the one who likes it. My sister used to love this drink, but I didn't have the chance to try it in front of her. Now, it's become a habit of mine."

Selina caught on his with words and understood the hidden meaning. "You're a really good brother."

"Haha, I'm okay as a brother compared to Bryan and Alfred." He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

"There's no comparison between people. You are you. As long as you've done your best, then you are the best you already. Sorry, this became more like some wise words from an old lady. Pffffft. Don't mind me." Selina realized they were getting a little off topic and tried changing it.

"Thank you." He whispered, but it was a phrase only he heard himself.

Perhaps it was the food coma taking effect; she fell asleep in the middle of their conversation. Since she was resting, Bryan took this opportunity to ask Jason to step outside for a few minutes. Alfred and Michael followed along, leaving Celinda behind to look after her.

The four of them stood outside the private room and discussed the situation that occurred today. As they walked through what had happened, Michael's expression turned ugly. Similarly, the others also had a gloomy face, looking as if they would get into a fight any second on the spot.

Bryan asked, "What will you do to Roger Sin?"

Cracking each knuckle on his hands, Jason was prepared for an exercise session. "Have him get a good taste of his own medicine. I heard he called Selina a bitch ass girlfriend while he was on that call with Peter Sin. There is a high chance that Peter would believe in Roger's words and look for her."

Alfred grinned, "The Sins really took after the right surname. The number of dirty deeds they've done has exceeded what their lives could repay. Since Roger called her a bitch ass, I'll make him one. Make him define these words."

Michael hasn't said a word, but the aura he emitted was enough for people to smell a storm of bloodshed arriving. The Sin family were given too many chances, yet none of them took it seriously. Since they've provoked his bottom line over and over; this time, they've run out of chances.

As the discussion continued further, Michael's voice rung their ears for the first time. "When will you deal with that lowlife?"

His voice was like water boiling with bubbles rising in a steamy pot. After seconds of consideration, Jason looked into the room and back at Michael. "After Selina discharges. I don't want her panicking while I'm not there."

Bryan agreed with his thoughts. "That's right. You weren't here earlier, but she was terrified when she woke up from a nightmare. She had been crying for a long time before she settled down. Even then, she kept holding onto him."

Michael's sharp eyes narrowed. Finally, he nodded silently. "When you deal with him, give us a call. We are taking care of the Sins ourselves before others rip them apart. If I'm correct about the news, Peter Sin's parents are behind bars right now."

Alfred pointed at Bryan while Bryan smiled proudly, "My doing. They should be beaten to pulps the moment they stepped into their cells. Who told them to commit many crimes and framed innocents to jail?"

"That's right. Since Ken Sin and Fanny Sin are in jail, only Peter and Roger are left for us to clean up. For now, Peter hadn't made a move to tick me off. As for Roger, I have some business to clear up with him. I need to be there to confirm my suspicions. As for the punishments, you can decide on it." Bryan patted Jason's shoulder with a chilling smile.

This wasn't the first time Bryan treated Jason with such trust. It was rather difficult for anyone to gain his approval. Alfred was very curious while Michael silently observed them. After pondering a while, Alfred asked. "Jason, who are you really?"

"I'm a regular business man." Jason smiled.

"Pfft, that's true. You are a regular business man, but also the only person who could have Aaron work as your assistant." Bryan exchanged a meaningful glance with Jason.

A mysterious smile curved on Michael's lips, but it quickly disappeared from his face. His eyes remained gazing at Jason for the rest of their plans. After all, the Sin family's existence was a nuisance.

Later, the doctor announced that Selina's examination results came out fine. The migraine she suffered from before was most likely triggered by a stimulation from the environment. If there are no other symptoms, she could discharge after another day of rest.

Bryan, Alfred and Michael decided to come back after Selina wakes up. At the same time, they still have tasks on their hands. Shortly after the doctor had left the room, the trio exited the hospital and went to Bryan's place.
