You Spilled Your Vinegar 2

Celinda was still resting her head in her arms when Selina turned the corner of the restaurant. She snapped her finger, took out her phone and texted Aaron.

Selina: "Use any excuse to get up from your seat! I'm right next to the huge plant in the back."

Aaron turned around and saw Selina waving at him by the plant. He nodded and excused himself from the table. "The waiter is taking too long with the food. Let me see if they took our orders correctly."

Once he successfully met up with Selina, they hid in a hidden corner where she told him what he needed to do.

Selina crossed her arms and raised her brow. "Claim your boyfriend in front of Celinda. She thinks Bryan is with a woman when that woman is Michael in female disguise."

"What?! Michael is here? He didn't pick up my calls earlier!!! And it's definitely not because his phone ran out of battery since it's not sent straight to the automatic voice message. What could he be doing with Bryan that he can't answer my calls?" Aaron thought Michael was busy, but it turns out he was having fun eating a lover's deluxe set with Bryan.

Selina felt the chills Aaron emitted. From afar, the duo spied on Bryan's table while Aaron gave Michael another call. Selina watched nervously beside the vinegar next to her who had his phone right by his ears. She crossed her fingers for Michael to pick up the call because if he doesn't then she can only order a coffin for him.

Alas, Michael took out his cellphone, read the caller ID and rejected the call. Selina let out a brittle laugh as she fanned Aaron with her hands. "M..Maybe they are talking about something important. Or maybe.."

"Maybe he'd rather talk to Bryan and meet with him instead of me. Who knows?" Aaron took deep breaths, stuffed his hand into his pocket and stormed back to their table. Selina facepalmed as she could vision two gloomy thundering clouds from a distance.

"Shit. I wanted him to go claim his boyfriend, but now great! Michael, why didn't you pick up his call? You literally rejected his call in plain sight. Guess, I can only depend on myself." Selina tapped her finger against her arm with a helpless expression on her face.

She stopped in front of Bryan's table and smiled. "Sorry to interrupt the two of you, but can you help me extinguish the fire at my table first before continuing whatever you two were talking about? I would deeply appreciate it."

"Huh? Selina, what do you mean?" They followed the direction of where she was pointing at and saw a deadly scene in front of them.

Michael gasped, "Did Aaron see..."

"Mhmm, he saw it clear as a bell from that angle how you rejected his call. I was right there when the jar cracked and the vinegar inside it has exploded. Michael, would you be a darling and clean up the vinegar you spilled? Next. Celinda isn't feeling well, and she's resting her head in her arm. She's dizzy but wouldn't eat. Bryan, would you be a doll and visit our table to see if you can help her out?" Selina spoke in a monotone voice as if she didn't give one bit of sympathy to the guys at the table.

In reality, they were the cause of this catastrophe at her table and ruined her lunch gathering. Perhaps the small lie she told to Bryan could give him some extra bonus points in Celinda's view. Michael elbowed Bryan asking him how he should coax his boyfriend. Meanwhile, Bryan whispered back he was in deep fried trouble himself.

Selina, on the other hand, had a grim reaper's wicked grin on her face. She was very prepared for the upcoming show. During her walk back to the table, she texted her boyfriend how much she missed him.

Michael could see how terrible Aaron's mood was when he tried approaching the table. As if an invisible electrifying barrier had formed around the table, Michael felt scared when meeting Aaron's cold glance. He was horrified to the point where he forgot to speak using his normal voice.

"Aaron! What a coincidence to see you here?" His female voice didn't win any favor from Aaron since Aaron continued sipping his tea without giving him a glance.

"I was meeting Bryan about some business we had to deal with, so I didn't pick up your call. I didn't mean it." He took a seat next to Aaron's but found it useless. Aaron mixed wasabi with soy sauce and started eating pieces of sushi without a care for the person blabbing lovely words into his ears.

Celinda gave a small reaction when she heard a female voice talking about Bryan. She took a peek from the side and realized it was the same woman who was dining with Bryan before. Her mood didn't improve one bit even though their conversation sounded like a girlfriend reporting back to a jealous boyfriend.

When she turned her head to the other side to ask Selina something, she saw Bryan sitting at the seat instead. His sudden appearance shocked her to the extent that her body stiffened to stone. She stared at him without blinking until her eyes became teary.

Seeing her eyes turning red, he reached over to touch her forehead. "You don't have a fever. Where are you not feeling well? Selina came over and told us that you weren't feeling good. Do you need a doctor? I could bring you to the hospital."

Though his words were caring to hear, she remembered him ditching her to come on a date with this lady on the opposite end of the table. She pouted followed by a frown. In a rasped voice, she lowly complained. "Why would you care? You were eating the lover's boat set with her."

Bryan was helpless when it came to Celinda behaving this way. He didn't hear what she said just now, but he knew it was not something good. Inside his head, he started listing the possible issues she may be suffering from.

Bryan's exact inner thoughts: 'Stomach pain, a headache, dizziness, fever, coming down with a cold, period cramps, pain somewhere on her body? There are so many!! Which one? Should I get medicine for her? This is the last time I'll ever ditch her for something as simple as planning Aaron's birthday party!!! He's Michael's boyfriend! Not mine! Sigh.'
