Jump! 2

When the first opportunity grew close, Aaron parted his lips, ready to give them instructions. He told them he would jump after they had landed safely, but in reality, he knew it would be difficult for him to escape with the enemies tagging along. He was only saying this to settle the girls.

Right when he wanted to tell them to get ready to jump, the wheels ran over greasy sections of the ground; letting the wheels flow freely in any direction. Grasping the steering wheel with all his power, he turned left and right, trying to steady the balance again.

In the middle of the crisis, the windshield wipers whipped back and forth on the window, attempting to clean it - but it was only blocking Aaron's way. Blinding lights suddenly blazed into his eyes from the front, as well as, from behind. The enemies didn't allow him a second to breathe!

Again, Aaron's eyes wandered every direction he could to figure out how to buy time before Jason's special team arrives - but it was impossible. There was no way for him to veer either left or right to avoid the oncoming vehicles. Instead of getting sandwiched to mutilated pieces, he was left with only one choice - the cliff.

A huge blow hit his BMW from behind and it felt as if an immense weight was placed on his trunk. He knew it wouldn't take long for the other car to crash him from the front. Taking the last chance, he had, Aaron turned the steering wheel for a left, letting the car spin around before heading towards the edge of the cliff.

"Unbuckle!"

Instantly, the girls loosened their seat belts.

"Jump!" Aaron shouted and watched as the two of them safely escaped from the car. He realized it when he tried unbuckling his seat belt earlier that someone had trampled with it, making it stuck. With all his strength, he ripped the seat belt away from his body.

By the time he did, the car already had broken through the fence, heading for the rocks below.

A deafening crash, followed by an explosion startled the girls who just survived a calamity. When they sat up from the grass, they checked to see if each other was alright. Before they could let out a sigh, their eyes widened and head turned towards the broken fence.

"A..Aaron..Aaron was still in the car!!! Aaron!!!" They shrieked as they shouted out his name and saw flames from below. There were no signs of him anywhere. Selina's phone was stuffed in her back pocket before they jumped. Though they were physically fine, their mental states were far from okay.

When Celinda and Selina turned around, trying to seek help, they realized they've been surrounded. Gangsters exited the vehicles with chloroform soaked on a cloth. They tried escaping, but still ended up captured and taken away in faded consciousness at the end.

Jason could hear their agonizing screams over the call, but none of them heard his words. When Jason first received the message about the attack, he contacted Bryan, Michael and Alfred. They immediately rushed to the route and was less than ten minutes away. Still, they couldn't make it in time.

By the time the Hui's, Clovers, Bryan, Michael, Alfred and the rest of the rescue teams arrived, the enemies were gone. Once they exited their vehicles, all they saw were flames, broken vehicles and mutilated bodies that were beyond recognition. Blood splattered stains with evident tire tracks imprinted the ground.

"Search! Track their phones! Also, check the license number, JW56S7M!" Jason's hands balled into fists as his knuckles turned white.

The Clovers also distributed their special group to spread out the area and go for a deep investigative search.

An hour later, when Selina opened her eyes again, she found herself lying on a bridge made up of grass and rope. She didn't feel the pain in her ankle earlier, but now, it crept in. A hiss escaped her mouth as she sat up, feeling the bridge wobble insecurely - as if it was on the brink of collapse.

From the small gaps of the bridge, she saw the stream and healthy greens below her. Her voice was quiet as she released a whimper, legs drained of energy and anxiety exploded from her insides. She tried reaching for the ropes that supported the bridge, but it didn't help her one bit.

Sweat droplets drenched her forehead as she squeezed her eyes shut, unable to mutter a word out of her throat. She wanted to call for help, but couldn't force it out. The wind was blowing strongly, and the bridge swayed along with it. The louder she shouted, the more the bridge seemed to shake.

"Hahaha, Selina! How is mother nature treating you over there? Have you soiled yourself yet? Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. I looked everywhere for this place. This bridge is the least steady one in the area with a great view. Even if you drop dead, there will be lively stones to wreck your baby face and insects to eat your decaying body." Shirley's voice echoed in Selina's ears.

Selina widened her eyes and looked up. Celinda was held down by two gangsters, on her knees. Spitting out the cloth in her mouth, Celinda cursed, "You fucking bitch!! I'll slaughter you if anything happens to Selina! Let her go!!"

A huge slap land across Celinda's delicate cheek, leaking blood at the corner of her lips. Her teeth sliced her bottom lip when that slap hit her across her cheek. Still, she didn't let out a hiss. Instead, she spat out a bloody spit on Shirley's feet. Celinda's eyes wandered to Peter, who was standing by the bridge with crossed arms, staring at the helpless figure on the bridge.

"Peter Sin! You've done so many shitty things, yet you're not even feeling a bit remorse? What have you done to Selina? Only you know it better than anyone else! If you're doing this to get an inch of respect or even your company, back, then you're going the wrong path! If you have even an ant sized brain, you would see through this disgusting plan of Shirley's! She only wants to kill Selina!"

Celinda tried knocking sense into him, but failed. Peter's eyes glued on Selina's petite figure, watching her suffer in amusement. "Selina, do you remember me now?" He asked, believing Shirley's words from before about how apologetic Selina would feel when her memory is recovered.

With his hands on the end of the bridge, he waited for her response. His impatience hit rock bottom when he saw her pressing her lips tightly together. "Not answering? Then I'll make you answer! I'll have you remember me!"

"Ahhhh!!!!!" Selina screamed as the bridge swayed dangerously as Peter stomped on it.
