Sorry...

"Selina, you can't even walk by yourself right now. Let me help you." Lia supported Selina entirely as Selina's legs were too weak for her to walk on her own. Every step they made, Selina would release a painful groan. The pressure she applied to her stomach would also increase as the pain strengthened.

"You don't have to come in with me. I-" Selina inhaled sharply, bending her body forward with her hand covering her stomach.

"I'm helping you no matter what you tell me. If you can't walk, then lean most of your weight onto me. I can handle it. If you are not willing to let me help, then I will carry you into the bathroom and assist you against your will. You know my condition." Lia tapped her abdomen as a threat against Selina's stubbornness.

"Okay, thank you. Don't let the others help me. They're clumsy and pregnant. Inconvenient." Selina whispered.

"Got it. I will help Selina to the bathroom. When Jason comes, please knock on the door. Since all of you are pregnant, please take a seat or find something to distract yourself from getting worried over Selina's condition. We aren't doctors and cannot help much. Worrying may add onto the already serious condition." Lia reminded the pregnant ladies in the room to remain calm.

After hearing her words, everyone nodded and took a seat. Though their eyes were still fixated on Selina, they stopped voicing their worries and waited for Jason's call. Meanwhile, they also remained high alert just in case Lia needs extra people to help out.

Ten minutes later, Jessica received a call from Jason. "Jason, Selina is in the bathroom and Lia is helping her right now. I don't think they are done yet. You should come up to her office and help her yourself because none of us could carry Selina. It'll be faster for you to be here. You're waiting for the elevator? Okay, good. See you in a few."

The call ended shortly after Jessica's quick update on Selina's condition. While Jessica was on the phone with him, Celinda walked over to the closed restroom door and knocked on it a few times. All she could hear from outside was Selina's sobs and Lia trying to find different ways to soothe her pain.

"Her condition doesn't seem too good in there." Celinda waved her hand at Kyla, who was nervously eyeing the closed door the entire time.

"Selina!" The elevator doors opened, and Jason's voice alerted the group in Selina's office. Since they were having a hangout, Selina did not close her office doors. She knew nobody would visit her office unless it was necessary and those who needs to come to see her would call her beforehand. Therefore, she left the doors open.

"Brother! Selina and Lia are in the bathroom. She is in a lot of pain." Throughout the entire time, Celinda had been worried sick. However, she knew she could only control her emotions until help arrives. Hence, the moment she saw Jason, her eyes teared up.

Jason knocked on the bathroom door and asked Lia to let him in. "Lia, it's me. Let me in. I'll help Selina down to my car. I'll bring her to the hospital. I've already told the hospital to be ready to take her in as a patient."

Once the door squeaked open, Jason dashed in and found Selina on the toilet. Her face no longer had a tint of rosiness color. Her back and head were leaning backward. Her mouth left agape as her chest heaved slowly as if air could barely get into her lungs.

"Selina!" She was barely conscious at this point. Lia closed the door from behind after seeing Jason reach for the toilet paper. The moment she turned around, she noticed Antonio standing next to the crowd with his hands tightly fist. If glares could carve holes in one's body, Lia knew her body would have millions carved into her body already.

"What happened to Selina? Wasn't she fine this morning?" Antonio stared at Lia intensely as if his question was interrogating her.

"She was fine earlier! We only started chatting and ate some snacks when she started suffering from pain that she nearly collapsed on her seat. But we all ate the same thing, so we don't even know what happened. Maybe she ate something wrong for breakfast?" Jessica was the one who explained the situation to Antonio even though his eyes were focused in a different direction.

"No, but Selina also drank a cup of milk tea too! She said she felt bloated after drinking the milk tea. Other than that, we did eat everything else she did." Celinda looked at the messy table with empty packages of snacks and the teapot.

"Did Selina make the milk tea herself?" Antonio only reacted when he heard Celinda's words. His head turned towards the table filled with snack wraps and the teapot that was on top of a teapot warmer.

"No, Lia made it for her. Selina chugged it fast, though. Could it be because Selina didn't eat lunch before drinking milk tea? Maybe that's why her stomach is hurting." Jessica came up with different possible explanations that may have caused Selina's stomach problem. However, regular stomach pain shouldn't make her sweat the way she did.

"L-" Antonio wanted to say something to Lia directly, but the second he opened his mouth he saw the bathroom door opening. Jason held Selina in his arms and rushed to the elevator without speaking to anyone.

At the same time, Kyla, Celinda, and Jessica grabbed their purses and followed behind him. The elevator door opened and everyone entered it. Without caring about Antonio and Lia, they pressed the underground floor level and left the office.

"I'm asking you and you better be honest with me. Did you do it?" He observed Lia, who usually speaks up for herself and defends herself. During those times, he always ignored her words, but this time, he really wished she would tell him it was not her who did this.

Unfortunately, only silence followed after his question. Lia took out the airpod from her ear and walked leisurely to the nature painting where she extracted the hidden camera.

"I'm asking you a question! Are you deaf?! Was it you who did this? Did you add something to her drink?!" Antonio forcefully took her wrist into his palm. His sudden action made the airpod and mini camera fall onto the floor. When he saw the devices on the floor, he immediately stomped on them to scattered pieces.

She looked up and gazed into his sharp glare. "Sorry...I really didn't have a choice this time. I-" Before she could speak another word, he shoved her aside.

Without looking back at her, he spoke sarcastically to her. "And here you said to trust you? All along just how many lies have you told me? Hah. I underestimated you and even sympathized with you. I am the idiot."

"And when have you ever trusted me?" For once, Lia spoke to him in a frustrated tone. Her trembling voice sounded vulnerable and heartbroken. Even though he didn't turn around, he could hear her cries. "And when have you ever once listened to me? Trusted me? When have you ever considered about me?"

After hearing her response, he remained silent for a few minutes before leaving the office. On the floor, Lia trembled with tears in her eyes as she held onto her lower abdomen. She didn't dare let out a single cry and walked towards the teapot on the table. She held the teapot in her hands and apologized. "I'm sorry..."
