The first girl I was Interested.

His dark hazel eyes surveys the crowd of Dubai Tennis Open.This place is one of his favorite in the tour.Here famous tennis player can walk around and enjoy interacting with fans without being harassed for autograph.Even the reporter are behaving well.

The atmosphere is carefree and fun without disregard for the safety of everyone. Dubai police allocated enough personnel for this occasion.The organizer involved the staff from department of health and well.They train a small team of nurses and doctors who are interested in tennis to work as line umpire for the Dubai tennis open.

He remember once falling inline with the crew and staff in the buffet room and how he love the feeling just being part of the crowd.

The crowd here are mixed nationality from all over the world.The place is lively and meticulously organized.The side court was arrange in a way to be efficient and easy access for players who are playing to qualify to the next round.

Today after 2 years he was competing to qualify.So many players all over the world came to participate. It surely a perfect place to be in the running for some ranking points and have a mini vacation as well.

His gazed darkened and remember he was called back for a compulsory military training 2 years ago at the peak of his tennis career.He never expected that his accuracy in placing a high power serve is one of the reason he was trained as a sniper in the military. The organization who hired him notice his very high IQ during the exam and how his brain process images so quickly,by a glance he can capture every details in the room like a camera.

He was given a nickname Blaze by news papers and magazine because he push through the tennis scene so quickly demolished his opponent with hi strong backhand and an accurate powerful serve that travels 255 kilometer per hour.The media and tennis sports experts predicted that he will be the number one player of the world by the half of the year but then he disappear from the tennis scene and no one can tell what happen to him.

A voice of a male line umpire disturb his reverie from the past.This guy is trying to sweet talk a girl line umpire. He talk in English and not Arabic ,so he understand what he was trying to tell her,he was boasting that he was a relative to the ruling family and the girl line umpire just ignore him and he keep pestering the girl and finally the girl line umpire with a sweet strong voice with the hint of irritation told him "as a line umpire we are not here to socialized but to watch the line.So shut up!!!!" He chuckled upon hearing this and was curious to see why this guy was sweet talking the girl who is 2 meters aways from him.

So he purposely pass in front of her blocking her view of the line and the girl look up and their eyes met and the girl quickly gaze down feeling shy with the brief eye contact.It feels like the time suspended when their eyes met and his heart skip a bit when he saw the look of shyness in the girls eyes.He noted that she is so attractive with soft Oriental shy eyes that is so amazingly striking.The kind of eyes that is clear and innocent. She may not be a classic beauty but look so exotic and oozing with sex appeal. In his side view he continue to survey the girl,she is taller than an average Asian girls,with black silky thick hair and a body that is curvaceous that even with male line umpire uniform that was made with the concept for men's wear can not hide it. The girl sensing that his eyes surveying her with interest she blushed and his heart skip a beat more.He was wondering how can a girl with a body like that can be so shy!!!!

The umpire voice distracted his admiring thought. He was telling them that the decision who serves first by doing the tossing the coin.

The game started and he gave his 100 percent concentration back in the game with the intent to win . His opponent is a qualifier from Russia.He was one of the strong player in qualifying round.Although this match is held in side court,older tennis player knows him and they decided that it is worth observing him play and learned his technique so in case they encounter him in the way to quarter finals they know how to counter attact him.

He won the first set quickly and he was happy with the result so far. So it's time to change court and he said to himself time to send love call to this shy attractive good looking girl.

It his time to served after this change court it .He was serving in the opposite side to her direction.He purposely serve with calculated strength and speed forcing his opponent stumble and not able to return the ball back to him so the umpire announce,"love 15" and he serve again with same strength and speed and his opponent barely catch the ball and the umpire announce love 30.....and he keep doing this until he won the set.When he change side to serve,he purposely lower the speed and strength of his serve making less force so his opponent can return back the ball to him.So they rally for a short while and he won the second set.He keep doing the same patter and this became a cycle.

People with knowledge in tennis was wondering why he was purposely making sure that when he serve through the side where the ball falls in front of the only girl line umpire in this court,his opponent will not be able to returned it and all the crowd can hear after the serve is the voice of the umpire announcing love 15,love 30 .....

Of course to ordinary tennis fans,there is nothing special about it but for the tennis player who was observing him and tennis experts this is done purposely.

The girl notice it too and she still keep her cool and concentrate watching the line.She keep telling herself their is nothing in it.

He was trying to impress her and at the same time show his dominance and demolished his opponent with his famous served and backhand and the game was over quickly.

His coach give him an approving hand gestures for his excellent job. While his father and sister clap like crazy.

After he bow down to the crowd he purposely pass in front of this very attractive girl to see her reaction to the game but she keep her cool and her expression is blank.He look at her intently forcing her to look at him and she looks at him and he smile gave her naughty mini smile.

Without his knowledge the girl heart beat faster when he gave her his dazzling smile.Outside she looks unaffected.Her only reaction she can't hide is how she quickly blush,her skin is brown so you can barely see she is blushing but his observation skills is more than normal.

He was telling himself silly sweet girl blushing like that.He wanted to approach her but how is he going to talk to her since players are not allowed to talk to line umpire.

His sister called him JC!!!!JC!!! and he walk to his sister direction and everyone in his entourage compose of his coach,sister and people from Spanish embassy staff came to congratulate him.

Then her sister ask what is that show is all about?She laugh and said my brother is trying to impress a girl!!!!! and he give his sister a grin and with a look of happiness that he win and at the same time a desperation and said how can I approach her it's not allowed to talk to any line umpire!!!

Meanwhile the Spanish embassy plan to throw a party for JC and two other tennis player tonight.

A small Asian girl approach the girl whom JC wants to impress earlier. She was watching the game in one of the side courts sitting in one of the bench. She approach her cautiously.She is all aware that this girl is not your average Asian girl by height and body structure and she ask her in her national language and said "are you a Filipina?"

Upon hearing this the girl smile shyly and said yes.Then she said where are you from? The small Filipina said from Manila and the other girl said me from Panay Island. I'm Mary said the girl whom JC wants to impress earlier and the other girl said I'm Isabel.

Isabel said: Tonight the Spanish embassy is having a party would you like to come?

Mary said:That is very nice thank you in a reserved tone of voice.

Isabela sensing that this girl doesn't want to talk more so she said nice meeting you Mary and Mary said same here Isabel.Then Mary concentrate again watching the game that she was watching earlier.She was thinking what just happened?Why did I suddenly I got an invitation to a Spanish embassy party!!!Then she smile is that has to do with that handsome tall tennis player who keep sending a ball to my direction continuously and making the umpire to announce love call. Nah!!! why do I think so much of it besides,I am just a nurse having a time of her life watching tennis and enjoying free food and time off from the clinic with pay. Why would a professional tennis player be interested in me. She shrug it off and continue watching the game...

After so many years this sweet memory makes her smile every time it creeps in her memory lane.That one weird day she was invited to attend a party dedicated to three Spanish tennis player in Spanish embassy. She was thinking what if she attend the party and bring her friends with her to chaperone her but at that time it never occur to her to accept the invitation.After all she is just a simple girl,likes being alone and her personality is not reckless or daring at all.
