Alice and I entered the Forest of Adventure, excited for the chance to hunt some monsters. We continued on into the forest together with our new equipment. Our confidence was way up since we have new weapons and I am getting used to using my magic.

We continued to walk on, looking for a sickle snake. They normally live alone and blend in with their surroundings well. You could easily mistake them for a vine. Their body is that of a snake, but their tail is shaped like a sickle and is extremely sharp. A lot of wealthy farms use their tails as equipment due to its durability and sharpness.

We continued on looking for anything resembling a vine. The entire day we had no luck finding a snake. We ended up having to go deeper into the forest. After camping overnight in the forest, I made sure that all of our stuff was not stolen by any velvet monkeys as Alice rested. 

After we packed up all of our stuff, we set out once again into the forest. When we were walking, I suddenly noticed that we were entering an area with more vines around the trees. Just to make sure, I kept cutting away at every vine I walked by, just in case there was a sickle snake around the tree.

Eventually I come across a vine that looks a lot like a green snake's back. I gently poked it and it started to move. I got startled by the sudden movement and quickly jumped backwards. Of course I then proceeded to lose my balance and fall on my ass.

The "vine" continued to move and then the head of a snake appeared. It flicked its tongue at me and then started to hiss. Oooh it's pissy now ahahahahahaha! Oh right, I should be fighting right now. Almost forgot.

I scrambled up and noticed Alice pull out her katana. Turns out there are a bunch of sickle snakes all around us. Oops. I quickly grabbed my katana out and got ready to fight. It looked like there were 8 sickle snakes surrounding us. I see the tips of their tails shaped like a moon crescent permanently.

One of the snakes lunges at me and I quickly defend myself. In mid air, it twists its body around to have its tail aimed at me, ready to strike. I quickly deflected it with my sword and the snake dropped on the ground and tried to slither away. I chased after it and quickly cut the monster in half. I was startled. I didn't have my guard up and I was not looking in front of me. I tried to dodge at the last second but the snake still was able to cut up my face pretty deeply. Angery, I flung a fireball at the head of the snake. The snake billowed up in flames and was burnt to a crisp.

Luckly, the tail was not affected by the fire, since it was a hard sharped look that the monsters use a lot. I continued to attack the snakes while being more careful with being attentive with my surroundings. I was able to slay another sickle snake but Alice was able to kill the other 5 snakes all by herself.

Together we harvested the sickle snakes' tails and then tied them together. These will be used as a tool later on for some craftsmen who wish to make good coins on high quality gear for farmers or others.

Alice and I headed back to the city where our temporary home was. Together we continued our adventure.
