– She had a cameo in tvN's drama "Twenty Again" (2015).

– In 2018, Yeji was a contestant of SBS' reality competition television series "The Fan" but was eliminated in the fifth episode. During her time on the show she was called "JYP's Secret Weapon" by 2PM's Junho.

– On January 20, 2019, it was announced that she would be joining JYP's new girl group. She debuted as the leader/member of ITZY on February 12 of the same year after three years of overall training.

Yeji joined SBS' reality competition television series The Fan, but was eliminated in the episode 5.[1]
2019: ITZY
On January 20, she was revealed, along with her fellow members, as a member of ITZY, JYP Entertainment's newest girl group. They debuted on February 12 with the digital single "IT'z Different".
