Ch.88

Life is rarely simple and when the North stopped their war, the Baratheon brothers actually joined forces to attack the Lannisters instead of against each other. A shadow assassin nearly killed Tywin Lannister while Kings Landing was under siege. Without the Riverlands or the north fighting them, Tywin was able to retreat and gather his forces to reinforce Kings Landing and keep the capital.

Cersei had given birth to a boy with brown hair and blue eyes. The fact that the North still had Jaime Lannister weakened their regime while the change in hair of a child made their arguments less valid on the incest matters. Cersei had thought it was her cousin's but he'd been nailing Joffrey the entire time and Joffrey hadn't killed him yet so he must've liked it. Back in the true south, Sansa showed signs of morning sickness and had begun to show a swelling in her stomach as the months went on.

Most of the women were in various states of the same condition. Unfortunately for Littlefinger, his betrayal of the crown came to light and he was executed which brought the Vale into the war against the Lannisters. The small folk fled south to Dorne and the Reach where they were welcomed, free from the ravages of war. Many were starving and found sustenance in Dorne as well as paid work.

I'd sold weapons to the Lannisters at extremely high prices as well as the Baratheons and the Arryns. Add that to the alcohol, ships, short term foods like fish and fruits and Dorne made a mint on the war. Pentos and the like bought the jugs and figurines while the war went on. The dragons had grown fast and fed on fish mostly, learning to breath fire and growing as big as a couple horses apiece.

The largest was as big as four horses and nearing nesting size. I made a giant black tower of thick glass with nests. The dragons loved it and slept there under the sun, basking in the warmth. Daenerys and the others would watch them from the balcony that interconnected and had soft chairs to relax under umbrellas in. The dragons would swoop down, catch fish in the lake I'd made and filled for them.

Some even swam in it, scaring the fish half to death. Giants watched them wearily and kept the mammoths away. I'd taught the giants how to keep the mammoths cool, made giant sheers and saddles. Hell, I made armor for the giants and huge Valyrian steel swords.

I had to make a trip to old Valyria to gather ore, but that wasn't hard. I found gold and pre-made swords as well alongside a few dragon eggs. Valyria was covered in ash, poisonous fumes and flowing magma in places, but a few structures were still standing. Sadly I hadn't gotten to see it in it's prime, but I had duties of my own to handle in Dorne.

I took everything I came for, even the molten ores before leaving. I set the two eggs on the perch and left them there. The ore was used with dragon fire to forge more weapons to stockpile. The old Valyrian steel armors were melted and made into weapons as well.

Dragon glass crossbow bolts were made in the millions while ballista bolts were made of dragon glass because it was easier to get and more abundant. Mance Raider was made into a high lord of the wildlings and told to think of what's best for his people before coming to court and tell us what they needed to make their lives better still. He was dumbfounded when I told him everyone works in Dorne, be they man, woman or giant, towards a common goal, a better future for all.

In the meantime Theon Greyjoy rebelled, sacked the ports in the north, got caught by the Boltons who castrated him before they rebelled against the Starks, ending up with a civil war in the north. The war in the south still raged. Half of Stannis's men were wiped out by wild fire, the other half were repelled by Tywin Lannister's forces alongside him repelling the Vale's men with the tribesmen of the hills from the Riverlands.

Time went on and the Baratheons recovered enough for another assault, this time on Lannisport, near Casterly Rock, the center of Lannister power while they men of the Vale held Tywin back. The results were bad for the Lannisters as most of the family was wiped out and burned alive by the red witch besides Stannis. Even Renly had gone missing in all the chaos supposedly. In the end Casterly Rock fell to the Baratheons before it was plundered by the Iron Born led by Balon while the Baratheons left to return to the forefront of the war.

I was told by the old Tyrell girl that the Lannisters were offering a lot for assistance. I told her as the Martells left to face Gregor Clegane and the Vale men retreated that Dorne wouldn't participate in a fruitless war over a throne we want nothing to do with. While Oberyn Martell and his crippled brother were killed by Gregor, their house broke and the sand snakes that were Oberyn's bastard daughters, attacked, killing Joffrey.

Tywin abandoned Kings Landing and crushed Stannis Baratheon's forces before taking what remained of his forces and house home except Cersei who demanded to remain and rule. She was off her rocker, but then she was pregnant again while what remained of her children were back at Casterly Rock safe and sound and she remained in a place that smelled of shit with her dead inbred son. The Baratheons were crippled as it came out the red witch had burned Renly alive at Stannis's orders.

The war came to a halt for now because the Vale men rebelled against Eddard's wife's sister over John Arryn's death and her betrayal with Littlefinger. They were killed so the lords had to figure out whom of which house would rule now that the house of Arryn was extinct. In the end Stannis was forced to retreat as his red witch abandoned him, his armies or what remained were scattered and the kings guard alone were too much for him to take the throne from Cersei who was facing the wrath of the little people.

Tyrion Lannister killed Tywin and fled to Essos after that with his niece and nephews, leaving the Lannister men to gather towards Cersei once more. Jon had amassed quite the army and then some, having taken over as a Dalthraki horse lord, gathering all the clans to him over time before freeing the Unsullied, burning several of the free cities to the ground in slavers bay and amassing an army of unsullied willing to fight for his cause.

Over a hundred and fifty thousand strong, his armies were growing. My men and I were making weapons and armor constantly year round having taken over the Dragonstone from the Baratheons and the Lannisters. Dragon glass was being mined and made for war as shipments to the Tyrells and the north were being made. Even more were being stockpiled with the food, building up a massive storage of food, weapons and armor.

Hell, even clean drinking water was being stored and buried. Cersei maintained her rule over the throne having abandoned Casterly Rock entirely so with a suggestion, the Tyrells took it over, feeding the people, helping the sick and injured as well as taking over the lands from the lords that'd been slaughtered. There was very little fight left in those that remained so they bent knee to Tyrell rule.

Another two years had passed while the armies amassed, the lands recovered from war and Cersei attempted to retake the Dragonstone. That didn't end well for her because she was kidnapped, tossed in my dungeon while my newest two children were raised as bastards. Kings Landing was taken by Stannis claiming it was his birthright with little more than five hundred men.

I took his head and sent his men back to Storm's End with a message that Kings Landing would be ruled by the Tyrells and repaired by Dorne before the true heir to the throne returns. My women came with me and spread word of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark's true born son and the last prince of the Targaryen line. Rumors spread that he was raised by the immortal king of Dorne, taught what it meant to rule and became a swordsman without equal except the immortal king himself.

Margaery spread the rumor that the immortal king sees the return of the white walkers and Dorne is preparing for the longest winter of all while their king gathers an army to cross the sea, unite the kingdoms as a council instead of one kingdom and lead the armies against the white walkers in the north as they breach the wall. The rumors spread like wildfire while the Dornish men, women and I fixed the sewer systems, put in pipes and full running water per house before cleaning the smell from the city.

Soon Kings Landing no longer smelled of shit and piss, the common folk were clean, fed and happy. The Tyrell's flower knight, Loras Tyrell, had the men in the fields helping the farmers, gathering supplies and helping the people. Jon had dealt with the Iron Banks and ensured they wouldn't be calling in the debts, having them wiped clean instead. By the beginning of the seventh year since I'd begun my journey, the armies were ready, the food storages were full and Jon was landing with hundreds of ships on Dorne's coast.

We greater them and gave the Dalthraki food, water, weapons and armor for them and their horses. The horse lords were eager to be on land which wasn't a surprise so they gathered in Wyl. They were confused with the greeting, gifts and food, but most rolled with it who weren't sea sick. The sick were treated and the armies of Dorne gathered.

I opened a massive portal as we marched through to the Reach where their armies gathered with us. We moved through another massive portal to Kings Landing. From there the reports came in that the Riverlands had sent their armies north and are with those of the Vale and Storms End. Loras joined us with all the men not needed to keep Kings Landing running smoothly.

Ten massive dragons flew overhead with Daenerys, Sansa, Margaery and Yara on them. None of the rest dared try which was amusing to me. I opened a portal and sent the armies through to Winterfell once they were dressed for the cold. The giants and wildlings joined the war when I told them plainly that if we lose, they'll freeze this whole world solid in a permanent long night so there won't be a world worth living in if we fail.

You'd best believe that once I promised weapons capable of killing the white walkers to boot, they all agreed at a chance to end the threat for good. In the last two years the true history of this world had been shared with everyone and not just that of Westeros but of the entire world. Every battle since the day I'd come to this world had been recorded down to the true reasons why it started and how it ended.

Hell, the Lannister's greed was legendary now while Incest was banned and several other issues had changed. When it was time, we joined the armies as the Dornish men passed around armor and weapons to every man and woman readying to fight. As for the Boltons, their house was destroyed and dead down to Ramsay whose head decorated the walls of their old fort because he'd tried to rape Arya.

She'd been the one to put his head there herself. Ned and Robb joined us on horseback as I told him. "The night grows longer and winter is here. Within a week the long night will begin, less than that the walkers will bring down the walls. Brandon Stark's magic was strong and skillfully used, but it wasn't meant to last so long."

They grimaced and we rode for the wall, barely arriving as the Night's Watch retreated far enough not to be crushed. The Night King and his army of white walkers stared at our army of a million strong with fifty giants and ten dragons. Their own army stretched as far as the eye could see as the sky darkened. I asked Jon. "Boy, you're not afraid of the dark are you?"

Several laughs came over the grim reality that was about to set in. Ned gave the word for the men of the watch to fall in line and grab the weapons we provide that can hurt and kill them. I opened a portal over Drogon, the largest of the dragons and my mount. I landed in my saddle and gave a war cry, doing a massive swoop before Drogon unleashed a torrent of fire across the white walker's armies.

Icy spears came but the flew through a portal and landed on their own armies. A massive zombie dragon spewing ice came out and all hell broke loose while the ten dragons burned the undead one. I opened a portal and staples the fucker in it's blue eyes with bothering my swords, penetrating it's brain. It whimpered, roared and fell, crashing into the army of undead.

We turned back to burning the sides and funneling the undead for those below. Thousands died and thousands more put them down for good over days of fighting a bloody war. Finally the Night King and I met on the ground while Drogon rested. We tore into each other and I'd lost an arm, an ear, my left eye and half my foot before I killed him when Ned distracted the fucker.

The rest of it's army fell down dead and I told them to gather the bodies and burn them all. I ended up in a tent being cut on to get the frost bite away so I'd heal properly while the rest worked that wasn't dead. Yara, three dragons, Ros, Gilly, and most of the former whores had died that I cared to know about.

Osha, Ygritte, Kayla, Doreah, Daenerys, Margaery and Sansa were all that remained of those I cared to bed beyond Cersei who was a salt wife of mine after a fashion. She was back in Dorne though so it hardly mattered. I healed slowly and by the time my hand returned with my eye and the rest of my foot, it was time to return home.

The bodies were burned, the cold was setting in deeper than ever and the night would last generations. I gave everyone a portal back to their lands and families, telling them to keep the weapons and armor in case the children of the forest make another white walker that can raise the dead. What remained of the Night's Watch was disbanded and they were left in Winterfell for them to deal with.

Warm cities in Dorne along with plenty of lit hearths kept my people happy while Jon Targaryen took the throne. My people withdrew from the Dragonstone while what remained of the crazy ass horse lords who'd ran through the white walker army were welcomed in Kings Landing before being sent home with enough food, water and all the women willing to leave with them. Jon United the six kingdoms as a council of kings.

Loras became king of the Reach, Jon combined the Vale with Kings Landing and Storm's End, making it five kingdoms in total. Jon was happy to hear I'd married his aunt and his cousin in Daenerys and Sansa. Only Sansa's red hair and Doreah's black shone through in my children. The rest looked like me in the hair department while their eyes varied.

Anyways, besides fishing, trading and peaceful cooperation for the hood of the people, the council discussed treaties on both marriage and political issues. Many wanted to marry their children to my own, but I told them my children would marry for love because only one with the heart of a king could make me step down from the throne so their politics don't play into it. I told them I'd not marry any related by blood no matter how distant to their children even if my children agreed because I would not be responsible for another mad king.

On that note Jon asked about Cersei. I told him plainly that she was serving her sentence as a palace maid for the rest of her life when she wasn't squirting out my bastards whom wouldn't inherit a title because of their mother's actions that led to the war. He grunted and the rest discussed food distribution, knowing the subject was dropped.

Tyrion Lannister had set himself up as a little lord of Pentos and the kids there would never know hardships so there was nothing to say on the matter. Cersei behaved because she was allowed to raise her children and didn't complain once when I came to her bed, using her every which way. She had several more children by me now and was pregnant even as I told Jon her fate.

She didn't know the clit ring I'd given her when I took her in the tower the first time made her immortal so she'd figure it out or assume it was me later on. The talks became boring because everyone was buying ships from Dorne to fish for food and supplement their stocks. Pigs and even mammoths were being sold for food so it really was all about what you could get for as little as possible.

Wine and alcohol was sold expensive as a luxury while water was free trade and fish were cheap, but not free. Grain and limited supply items were expensive and would remain so, but that was to be expected. The Iron Islands suffered massively within the next ten years before the cold wiped them out with sickness. They'd tried to raid the Reach and the North only to be killed off.

They chose the path of blood so once they were gone, their ships were used for fishing or dried and used as kindling. Word came from a scout ship that the people in the iron islands were all dead from frostbite or starvation. Their few ships they'd had remaining weren't capable of bringing in fish of any decent quantity and they had few enough nets for it.
